Thank you Richard for helping me lower my bp just after 5 weeks. 4 weeks of Workout 1 then switched to Workout 3 for 1 week. I am 64 years old. Had bp of 140/82 before the exercise After 1 week 135/78 2 weeks 131/75 3 weeks 125/73 4 weeks 123/72 Never before have my systolic bp been below 130. Your exercises really worked for me and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you again 😊

Hope you enjoy it! That's weird that your comments went unnoticed as I "like" and reply to every comment on the KZbin dashboard that comes up for all 200+ videos (while I still can). Unless you made your comment as a "reply" to another viewers comment, these don't show up on my dashboard, so I wouldn't see them necessarily.

For two weeks now Richard I have been religiously doing one a full set of your BP workouts.. I have been on BP medication for many years now.. finally I have a workout that has a perfect combination of cardio . Strength . Length . I always feel great afterwards but never nakard .. so I am eager to go again then next day. Thank you Richard

Ive done this a couple of times now and even though I can’t do the planks, I thoroughly enjoy this work out. You keep adding videos and it makes it harder for me to decide which one to do haha. These are great excercises for lowering blood pressure. My blood pressure droped from about 140/90 to about 120/70 within two weeks.

Thanks! You can always do the plank on a higher support to make it easier, like the back of a chair, dining room table or whatever you have around you to make your body more vertical. The more horizontal your body, the harder it is.

So glad you have a 3rd one for reducing blood pressure. I plan to do them every day. It's good to cycle the 3 sessions. This will be my 3rd day and feeling good just after a couple of sessions. I love your pacing, the recovery periods and modifications. It makes it so doable and yet at the same time I feel I've had a great workout. Thank you!

Hey Richard am a avid follower of your routines. Have been doing them for quite some time. Really see a increase in my stamina and strength and reduction in BP. Don't worry, as I mention in the video, if you need to pause that's fine. You can also try doing an easier version standing but leaning forwards into the wall with your arms straight (as though you were going to do a wall press). This will be a modified version that's a little easier on the core.

My name is Joshua, I am doing some of your work out programs. I did them two times as I witch the whole thing thought. and I enjoy them. I will tell you a little info about me. I am Down Syndrome I do not have a heart issues. I am adopted and I have found out that my family has cardiovascular disease. I also have LDL problems. I want that to go down and keep that LDL level. Back to down syndrome it is common with muscle tone here they are legs, feet, hands and arms, back and butt muscles and I also want abs. also thanks

Hey Richard, Thanks so much for all these amazing videos love your videos for lowering bp, especially this last one with the mix of isometric and cardio! However I have a problem with the side plank as it agrivates my lower back.Is there an adaption that isn't so hard on my back? I have a compressed lumbar vertebrae.

Yes, try doing it sideways onto a wall so you're still leaning but more upright. You can do it with your arm straight (so hand on the wall) or do it on the elbow/ forearm like in the video. It may be that the angle is too low for your back to stabilise. Also, probably worth trying one of my core/ lower back exercise videos to help. I've done some strength and conditioning workout videos which are also suitable if you have high B/P and I have another scheduled for later in the year, this being a low impact strength workout. Ideally for muscle "building", it's easier if you have access to a gym facility where you can add more load to the movements, where as home exercise can be slightly limited to bodyweight and light weights. @Richard Do we need to do this all in one "sitting"? or can we do one exercise, pause the video, do some study (I am doing some learning on computer) and then when taking a break, do the next exercise on the video?

Yes you can do those on the floor, but that will make it harder, and you may feel a bit dizzy when you stand back up.

I obviously don't know the answer to this, but think of all exercise types as one way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. ANALOGY: You can regularly clean your teeth twice a day but still get problems in later life. If you didn't clean them, then there is an increased risk for you to get problems at an earlier age.

I would say it is at a moderate intensity, but depending on your fitness, some exercises may feel more like high intensity. It can help aid with burning more calories in a day for sure, but what you eat will be the key to successful weight loss.

BP is neither good or bad, but ideal BP is considered between 90/60 and 120/80

Thanks. Unfortunately, I can only use non-copyright music on KZbin which is somewhat restrictive and music is subjective too; what motivates one person annoys another so it won't please everyone. That's weird that you think it's too loud though as I set it at minus 35 dB below my voice audio, so it shouldn't be over the top, more like background music.
