What great rehab you are getting Peter , from Kyler Brown!! Brilliant the integration of the shoulder with the rest of the muscles, so functional, and makes such sense. I will be trying out some of these today. I had a left full labrum repair in 2013, the PT rehab was not to this extent, it was so limited, looking only at the shoulder in isolation of the rest of the body. I am left with a lot of tightness and issues from other injuries (Right Bristow repair in 1984, unfortunately the rehab had not changed much ) that a talented chiro in Edmonton is helping me with. The chiro does ART and the kinseologist assists with the rehab/strengthing work .

PT or not, this practitioner was using good rehab principles. Good ideas for incorporating multi structure stabilization, though I would have to modify most of the exercises presented for my usual patient. Most people aren’t as athletic as Peter.

I also have right shoulder issues with the ilsilateral roatation I feel my right hip taking over this is similar to how it feels to walk

Ive had occasional painful shoulder issues for years. Lots of ART etc. If you lift 🏋️♀️ Its not IF but when you will have issues. IMO Band exercise doing Y, T, L facepull, & close grip pull 3+ times per week = pretty resilient shoulder 💪🏼

Sorry, you can't say that definitively. It is a lot more complicated than just biomechanics and physiology. There are no magic exercises or fixes either, period.

@@Moving2Korea Sure, mid-life shoulder damage can be inherited, result from trauma or injury, or just your own biological clock. But, all things being equal, the exercises mentioned above are all good at strengthening the rotator cuff muscles and other shoulder components and making them more resistant to injury. Peter has released numerous videos with Jesse Schwartsman performing these strengthening exercises.

Came across this video today. Week nine post op. Subscapularis repair plus bicep tendon slippage and a thirty year old supraspinatus repair jacked up. Afraid I have probably done too much already. Bands with motion. Will copy these tomorrow. My biggest gripe is lack of overhead extention. Everything is so tight.

This Thursday I'm doing my left labrum after doing my right in 2018. Thanks for this. Last time I traveled to my family in Cairo and did some Physical Therapy there. Don't do it!
