I have owned the Classic 350 for just over 2 years now and have to it’s the best bike I have owned in 54 years of riding. Unless you must travel at 80 miles an hour this is the perfect bike. So well made, reliable and you just relax every ride, no worries about speed limits, as more enjoyable at the lower speeds we have these days. 😊

The suspension fix is miles ridden when i first got my meteor i planned to change the rear shocks after the run in period but at 2100 miles its become quite luxurious 👍the common term for that is stiction in the shock absorber the front was the but nowhere near as bad but is now becoming very plush , the motor is still getting better as well and the gearbox which is superb by the way is sensitive to chain tension as i found it had lost its feel a bit but i adjusted the chain at 1200 miles and literally couple of mm was all it needed and normal service was resumed

As I've gotten older, the need for speed has gone from me. So a bike like this is perfect. I really like the Red and chrome Classic 350, as it looks a lot like the old BSA bikes. My only issue is that the chrome would require me to spend time polishing. I think the flat green military Classic 350 would probably be a better option for me. These bikes look really good with knobby on and off road tires, and it gives them more bite on gravel/dirt roads.

I have one of the RE 350’s (Bullet). The best comparison in my collection is the Honda CB125F with the type of bike the 350 would be good to ride with. The 350 rides best with mid revs I.e changing gears early. Stay in that chunky torque curb. Whereas the CB125F performs best revving it all the way up. The 350 feels effortless when compared, it feels like it has so much character in an old school vintage motorcycle way. You feel and hear that pulsating engine in the best possible way. It’s a weird sensation, one that I would normally associate with a VTwin. Very addictive. It’s everything the CB125F isn’t. The 125F is way smoother and ridiculous on fuel. Super light weight and takes corners like it doesn’t even know it’s going around it. Fun to rev out and needs much less TLC in maintaining. The 350 gets off from the lights much easier and goes up a hill easier.

You said that you haven't noticed anything different about the bike now that you have put more miles on it. However, the bike that I had did change. When new, riding over large bumps would send a painful thump through the seat, which wasn't comfortable! But after the bike had done about 1,500 miles I realised that the rear suspension had softened and it no longer gave those very harsh thumps. It was noticably better. 🙂

I understand mate-so , imagine a diesel 1.9 van where it has loads of power but its not fast getting there BUT its still fast enough and when going up hill your in a high gear compared to a faster 1.2 fiesta which is faster but you have to go down the gears going up the hill because it has less Torque. Seeing as I'm not looking to speed around and they would probably suit my size a bit better I'm looking cruisers. Lexmoto make a 125cc cruiser. Yes they are! Good for everything I think. I'd have to keep the NC for bigger runs but this would open many doors👍🍻

I totally agree with you on the highway. I don’t really want to be going 80-85 on two wheels. So many other reviews are like “ don’t go on the highway it’s not safe you’ll die!” Like there aren’t dozens of cars and trucks going 65-70 in the slow lane. These same people afraid to go 65 MPH due to the danger are whizzing in and out of traffic at 90 assuming no car is going to change lanes in front of them, a far more likely danger than getting run over doing 65

As in the main review I filmed of this bike, I still found myself out in lane 2 over taking the lorrys in lane 1 often...it works ok as a mile muncher I think.

Impressive that you've clocked up 1100 miles on it mate, although not as Impressive as 4 trains & 1 plane interrupting your work! 🤬🤣👍 I think this colour suits the bike, but we all know red bikes go faster! 😉✌️

Red was never the "in" thing till you got yours John. You're a trend setter for sure

Zzzzzzzzzz 🤮🤮the reason you were allowed to keep the bike longer is that no one else wants to ride it! These bikes are gutless, not for me😳
