Good video and good advice. I hope it's years before I have to go that deep into my 2001 TJ, which I've owned since new and done 100% of the service work. But if I do, I'll be back here for sure. Thanks.

I had trouble at first removing the bolts from under the manifold and exhaust, but to make my life easier I used tape to make my socket joint adapter more sturdy. By wrapping tape a few times around the joints, which helped tremendously. I'm no longer intimidated by this-

Hey question. What hose goes over the nipple at time stamp 1:28? Its located at the far end closest to the fire wall, its next to the spot that you have labeled "C".

@@rustyjeep9783 Thanks for the fast reply sir. You wouldnt happen to know the name of this particular hose would you? Mine is missing on a jeep I purchased, for some odd reason.

Excellent video. I put a new engine in a 4.0 jeep and the gasket leaks. New gasket as well. Any tips on getting it to seal?

Im assuming you'r talking about intake and exhaust gasket leak. The 4.0l has cast iron head/ block and unless you plained it it properly Its not perfect. I was told by more then one person to use cooper sealant and gasket to fill in imperfections. If you use a sealant make sure not to torque it down right away and let the sealant harden a little . I made a video About putting headers on and showed how I did it. If thats not the leak you'r talking about let me know ... Ps KZbin doesn't notify me on comments on comments so leave a new comment ..Good luck
