Exhaust Leak Fix and Heat Wrapping on the Mitsubishi Mighty Max // Custom Cold Air Intake Prototype😁

Trying to fix a long time issue with the Mitsubishi Mighty Max, an exhaust leak and excessive heat radiation from the manifold. I use some techniques to get rid of the leaks and for the first time doing heat wrapping! Also repaired some wire harness sections and I started a custom cold air intake prototype with a slimmed down M.A.F. sensor housing! 🤓🙏

I love how a lot of us found your channel searching Ram 50/Mighty Max stuff. LOVE THE BUILD. I hope the coveralls are always... ALWAYS on and the Mighty Max somewhere close by to tinker on and improve ; ) The intake is super cool looking. That is gonna be clean and functional. Next time you have to eeld cast try preheating it with a torch first. Propane or map gas works just fine. Love the build getting ready to pick up a 90 mighty max.

Found you looking for ram50 info. Kept an eye on this project good work so far keep it up. I have one question I'm not the most mechanical and I have to replace the intake on my d50 with the 2.6 the shops around where I live want a fortune. So my question is in theory can someone with basic tools and even more basic knowledge change the intake. It's a stock intake I ordered so I'm thinking it shouldn't be too awfully complicated right?

@Ouijamaru Ravenquill , Thank you so much! I try my best 🤗. About the intake, I really think it's not as hard as you would think to take off and replace the intake manifold. Just got to make sure you bolt on everything back as you took it apart, take your time and taking various pictures during the process helps out too. I would also highly recommend the service manual, being mechanically inclined or not its good to have.
