i have a question. My gf has 2012 kia ceed same engine as its in video. Loud noise from exhaust i assume gaskets are gone or flex pipe. Is it doable to remove exhaust on jacks without pulling the engine out ?

how difficult is this job without taking out the entire engine from the engine bay

Very difficult. Hard to reach bolts and likely a lot of rust. If things aren't too rusted, it is a lot easier. I got stuck with the bottom screw that holds the heat shield. The head was rounded and needed to cut through the shield to get it off
