How unrealistic. Lol. I almost broke my arm getting on the manifold bolts on my 09 charger yesterday. My arm got stuck reaching down for one of the corner bolts. Today I am gonna slide under the car with all three car jacks holding the car up. And placing blocks under the car as well, to ensure my safety. Wish me luck boy's. And my hands, they were all greasy & sore when I removed my exhaust manifold. I have a heck of a lot more respect for all mechanics out there for what they can do. ✌😎👍🔩🔨🔧

No. Studs and multilayer stainless steel gaskets can be reused if they are clean and level.

Yes you can. Just unscrew the 2 bolts from underneath the turbo and then with a 19mm unscrew the one on the block.

Good luck. I couldn’t get drill in to drill mine out with carbide drill bit. Ended getting lucky by welding a nut on to the little piece of stud sticking out and heating the block up

Victor Rienz Re-Movit. It's seen near the end of the video. Any gasket remover spray will work. Use a plastic scraper if crap is baked on so you don't gouge the mating surface and create weak spots between the gasket and manifold.

You have to be related to the individuals responsible for the video. THERE IS NO WAY YOY FOUND THIS INFORMATIVE WHEN NOT ONE WORD WAS SPOKEN. Nothing was explained , AT ALL.. all we learned was….. nothing . That little fairies come in middle of night and take everything off for you . Loosen all your bolts , steam clean the engine .for you so you only have to apply 12 inch pounds of torque to take your manifold bolts out.

I think you’re mistaken in this video. If you pause at 7:34 you can clearly see the chef rubbing his hands on his apron. Fair enough he’s not washing them properly but he’s at least making an effort. Besides, he was cooking with tripe so I think washing hands would have been unnecessary anyway. Hope this helps :)

Ya right! Ridiculous video.. she had that in and out in 2 minutes. If this was about the spray she was using. Then ok.for anyone who never done this before ..stop and call someone or go garage. This isn’t like changing a tire. It can be extremely frustrating for even the most experienced mechanics. Now consider you don’t have a lift or a crew of people to take everything off to get to the manifold and loosen all your bolts for you and steam clean the engine before you even attempt it .. you most likely will break bolts . Then your screwed because they will be hardened and nearly impossible to drill out without a carbide bit or to burn it out. Bottom line this isn’t easy at it looked and you could end up much worse off then when you started

I steer clear of Victor-Reinz. Rebuilt a BBC a couple years ago. The rear main looked funny to me. I measured it. It was .020" too big on the crank side. Had I not noticed that, can you imagine how much oil would have been dumped all over the clutch, bell housing, and floor? Then pulling the motor again and replacing it and everything else to get to it? I "attempted" to contact Victor Reinz. US offices, European office, e-mails... I got no response. Totally unacceptable. The vendor I bought the gasket set from? They said the only way they could do anything was to return the entire gasket set... Resolution? Bought a Felpro rear main at the local parts store. What a fiasco. I won't buy Victor-Reinz unless I am in a spot where it is the only brand available.
