I have a 2012 Panamera 4. I purchased it and within a few days a engine light came on. I had to take it back to get a valve job it was about $2k. I purchased the extended warranty 4k, and the repair was free. I have not had a issue with it for three years. I recently purchased a 2013 Cayenne base. It drives really well. If you buy used get the warranty it is worth it!

Exhaust Sports Auto. I also will tell people to get a fixit ID or a portable engine reader if I would have had this, I may not have made the purchase. Also try to get them used from the Porsche or Another Foreign car dealership they seem to be more then willing to make sure they deliver a car that works and will give warranties.

So Karl. I get your point but you spent 4 grand on a warranty and your only repair would have cost you 2 grand. You technically would have saved 2 grand by not buying a warranty.

I got my 2015 Panamera Turbo with 17,000 miles on it this year. My husband told me he was buying me a hatchback! 🤣 I love this car! It has all the bells and whistles. It has luxurious interior and is super comfortable to drive. I’ve driven 135 MPH and it felt like I was going 70. I haven’t done the launch control yet, but my husband has and said it was fun. I love that my car is faster than his 911 S. This car does not disappoint.

As a PROUD owner of the 2011 Panamera base, I can say that I really love this car. My particular trim is an all black interior and dark gray exterior which I do like more than the beige interior in this video. The steering is phenomenal, although it does take a bit of getting used to how long this car is and how close to the front of the car you are (I used to drive a 2017 SS camaro, a BMW X3, a Honda Civic, and a Chevy Avalanche as comparison). This car is VERY reliable if you take care of it, in fact if you do plan on buying this car please do expect to dedicate a lot of time and some money making sure this thing is mechanically sound. I never really understood the hype about Porsches until I got in the drivers seat, and I will say after you drive a Porsche you do understand why so many Porsche owners love the Porsche brand so much. It is really a car you cannot truly appreciate until you pilot one. Keep in mind, like most other cars, the more standard your Panamera is the easier it is to maintain. I am very glad I have the v6 RWD version of this car, rather than the v8 or turbocharged v8 because I have read that the v8 versions are prone to having cylinder and other engine problems, although if you are looking at a turbocharged v8 Porsche finances shouldn’t really be too much of an issue. Overall, I really like the Panamera and honestly I can’t really see how one wouldn’t. You should not buy this car because you want to race it. In no means is this a slow car, but if you want a quicker sedan look at A7s, Tesla Model 3s, Chargers, etc. This is just an extremely fun daily driver that is quite reliable, practical, and beautiful.

The 500 hp turbo V8 in this 4 door vehicle is incredible. The interior quality is fantastic. Its reputation is well earned. Just make sure now that they are “affordable” you have cash, and lots of it, when something breaks, like the air suspension. It is very reliable, but owning it still takes big boss baller money.

I have the 2013 Turbo model Panamera and found it is an exceptionally smooth long haul vehicle not to mention blazing speed with the launch control. It turns in 0-60 in less than 4.0 seconds. Actually in 3.8 range. I do have the IPD plenum installed and it did make a difference. Wife thinks it’s much much smoother than her GLC 300 Mercedes! I used launch control without traction control on and left rubber marks from all 4 wheels for more than 100 yards. Sport plus mode is a monster. Also was rolling at 55mph, selected sport plus, floored it to pass a slow pickup truck and left rubber on the highway for quite a ways around that truck. Impressive Porsche sedan!! @MeynMotorGroup10 ай бұрын
There’s not a lot of great after market warranty options. The best warranties are of course the OEM ones from the manufacturer like when you buy a new car or a CPO car. But aftermarket there’s not many good ones. Heard terrible things about Endurance on Reddit. I had a good warranty from Hendrick AutoGuard it was their top of the line platinum warranty. It covered all major repairs on my used 2010 Acura TSX however this was like 8 years ago, they could be trash now or simply won’t cover nationwide as Hendrick is primarily a south east dealer network. CarMax is the next best choice but they don’t allow you to haggle and their warranty doesn’t seem to cover everything either. A Patreon member of mine has a Lexus LS 460 from CarMax and he bought their warranty. When the amp on his ML audio system went out they wouldn’t cover it and there was something else they wouldn’t cover either. A lot to consider but yea buying a used car especially now is tough not to mention financing on used cars which is a nightmare currently.

I put the car through it’s paces regularly and have done some maintenance but am very happy with the perceived quality and reliability. yo i saw both ur reviews for a7/s7 and im cross-shopping w this car, if it was your own money and both were same condition/priced similar (or maybe 5-10k porsche premium) which one would you get? e.g a panamera 4, versus say a a7/s7
@MeynMotorGroup4 жыл бұрын
Hmm that's a great question so Panamera has slightly sharper handling and A7 has a better ride quality kind of depends on what you want but you will probably also get a newer A7 for the price of the Panamera so value wise the A7 is probably better and they have good CPO programs granted so does Porsche. You're not loosing with either one both are great I might lean Panamera if budget allows but I do love the A7 for the price

Haha yea I mean I try to cover cars people can obtain that are relatively cool. What have you narrowed your search down to?
@VertigoGTI4 жыл бұрын
I’m currently looking at 2016+ Charger SP or HC, 2014+ Jaguar XF, and 2015 Audi S7. I love the S7, but it almost fails the rear headroom test for my wife’s dad, so someone recommended I try a Panamera. Would love a Turbo, but I’d be happy with a GTS.
@MeynMotorGroup4 жыл бұрын
@@VertigoGTI nice yea I understand just be sure to get a warranty with those cars

I think people bash this car because of rear looks. It has a sloping back which looks like a frog almost like it’s a wagon. For a sporty sedan it could do better on styling.
@MeynMotorGroup4 жыл бұрын
I hear yea I def understand some genuinely don’t like it as styling is subjective of course. Do you like the latest generation the normal and the sport Turismo style?
@username69674 жыл бұрын
Exhaust Sports Auto the newer generation ones are a lot better looking for sure

I found a Panamera Turbo with almost 100k miles it have 99,7xx for 35k
@cdeN1ne2 жыл бұрын
Did you buy it? Just bought a Turbo with 98k miles for $28k. Best value ever. No other car with the same quality and performance comes close to how much of a bargain a Panamera Turbo is at only $28k.
@JonnyQ4082 жыл бұрын
@@cdeN1ne I didn’t buy it, I actually found a few between 30k-35k depending on the mileage, I’ll probably wait and see

I am looking at a 2011 Porsche Panamera 4 right now for 21k Canadian , 160k km , one owner, all service records. I don’t know if I should buy it or a m6 , newer 2017 Lexus IS . So hard to choose
@paladin31164 жыл бұрын
why the hell would you buy a car with that many miles in general and especially a porsche
@rldriver44704 жыл бұрын
@@paladin3116 Porsches are some of the best cars to buy with high mileage. They are reliable and dependable that's the way they're built. it's a Porsche and not a Honda or Toyota. I have a 2010 Panamera S with a hundred thousand miles on it, when I bought it, it had 70000 miles on it and I have not had no problems NONE.

Exhaust Sports Auto the turbo is a 500 hp twin turbo V8 that hits 60 in 3.5 seconds! How do they possibly drive the same?
@MeynMotorGroup4 жыл бұрын
@@zacharyparis Drives SIMILAR not goes the same. I'm sure even for the turbo they made some suspension tweaks and such but for the most part a Panamera is a Panamera and should DRIVE SIMILAR. It's not as drastic of a change as a 320i to an M3 where they change everything but the door panels. Just because they have different motors doesn't mean they drive totally different the architecture remains
