Exhibition opening: "Metropolitan Anthony: A Life in Photos"

On August 4, 2023, an exhibition dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the repose of Metropolitan Anthony (Bloom) - "Metropolitan Anthony: A Life in Photos" was opened in the rotunda of the Old Brompton Cemetery in London.
After the memorial service at the grave of Metropolitan Anthony, the exhibition was opened by His Grace Bishop Matthew of Sourozh.
Vladyka addressed those present with a welcoming speech, paying special attention to the life path of the founder of the Diocese of Sourozh, his spiritual labours in the field of Gospel preaching and their significance not only for Orthodox believers living in the British Isles, but also among Christians around the world.
Yana Reznik, coordinator of the exhibition, spoke about the artistic concept of the exhibition, touching upon the main stages of the biography of Metropolitan Anthony.
The male quartet of the choir of the Dormition Cathedral in London, conducted by Dmitry Tugarinov, performed a number of works of Russian sacred and folk music.
The exhibition was visited by Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrei Kelin, diplomats of the Russian Embassy, representatives of the British public, parishioners of the Dormition Cathedral, spiritual children and admirers of Metropolitan Anthony.
From August 7th, the exposition will continue in the premises of the Dormition Cathedral in London.

I wonder, if Cyril and Methodius were brought back to life, if they would approve of Russia's descent into fascism and chaos. I feel they wouldn't and would excommunicate little Vlad for his hubris and arrogance, not to mention the crimes he is guilty of.

Poem: Callsign MAJESTIC Her finger bones so delicate and fragile in my hand, like the bones of a bird - there is yet the quickening pulse of life in them The looming machines take up half the room: the blood-pumper pumping blood into her, the auto-breather ramming air into her lungs - machines to keep my friend alive She is a baby boomer and she is against all odds my friend Through her hand, I feel the pain of the husband who beat her and all the estranged children and I weep buckets for my friend for my parents for all the parents & children estranged all the broken families what a tragic waste Before, when she is awake, she looks me dead in the eye one bright eye peering steadfastly from behind the breathing mask for a moment her countenance changes and she is like no creature I have ever seen like an ancient starfarer from distant times and distant places I will never know like a space alien from a different generation and a different universe she tells me: "I'm glad I got to know you as a friend in this life" and I feel the exact same way whatever happens, I believe she knows the Lord. I'm glad I got to feed her my pasta, when I cooked large batches. Could've fed her more often. Many times she blessed me She always says "Jesus loves you." She always says "What a majestic evening!" so I took to calling her "Majestic" I even assigned her callsign to one higher in the chain-of-command than me wrote her into dispatches wrote her into American military intelligence history I don't know if she believes me, all my wild national security tales She told me she saw a mountain lion one time, my friend, saw this mountain lion right outside the doorstep of our house one night My friend, she always questions me about whether I believe her about the mountain lion I do believe her, I have always believed her. 10 August 2023. Dispatch for Ukraine via Department of Defense: Operation LINEBACKER III. I am grievously sorry for the cowardice of USA & the NATO Alliance, and grievously sorry airpower was cruelly and unwisely withheld for so long. I recommend Ukraine preserve your infantry. Cease offensive ground actions, hold & defend your current positions. Instead of focusing on re-capturing territory, for now focus on attrition: kill the enemy with artillery and drone strikes and whatever airpower you have until there is no invader left to occupy your land. At sea, sink the entire Russian fleet with your drones (see previous dispatch, Operation JADE BLACKFISH). Strike Moscow hard every chance you get. I don't want to send your infantry repeatedly into prepared Russian defensive lines for limited gain, I want to preserve your infantry. Let your infantry hold the line while your artillery and drone operators and Air Force wage a war of attrition against the enemy. If you will give me a plot of land to live on in Ukraine, so that if I survive the war I will not be a homeless veteran of two countries, then I will come and fight for you in person.
