exit is a studio masterpiece. I was 12 when I First heard this. there are so many layers in it. I love the sound of the night-time crickets running through it.

This is priceless, I never saw any footage where Bono was so still for so long...he's just sitting there listening and I could stare at him doing that all day.

Bono is adorable. He's so gracious and unassuming. He's undeniably handsome but he doesn't seem to notice.

"Bono's guitar"-- That's a term I haven't heard in quite some time.

2:04 That was Bono's guitar part? Wow. I listened to the album, today, and that part stood out as one of my favorite Edge. Turns out it was Bono. Love that.

Eddie Van Halen said it was what inspired him to pick up the guitar, in the first place.

I have this show on DVD and have seen it a number of times and this is the one and only time on film where I've seen Bino in awe if someone else, i.e: @ 2:23.

Boner is so amazing, he's only in awe of himself. I used to think Elvis, Robert Plant, and Mick Jagger were legends. Compared to Boner, they are just amateurs. Even Boner's sunglasses are in awe of him. What a mirror must feel like when it gets to reflect his God-like image. I bet even God himself is in awe of Boner.

The jam which "Exit" came from must have been musical gold.

@ToulacAxeHand yeah it's a running joke with the studio producers and band that Bono tries desperately to play guitar and they try to convince him not to, but we all know that's like telling God to stop making the sun shine! I think it's pretty funny actually that he hasn't improved after all these years! He does OK on "Kite" though in the Slane Castle vid. And for all his lack in guitar skills, he MORE than makes up for it in vocal prowess, wizardry, and epic-ness

Yeah, I've always noticed that. In fact, it's worse on the Adelaide recording... his guitar playing is usually really good, and he's a good guitar player, so I'm not sure what's up with these two renditions.

He has a medical condition Glaucoma which affects his eyes. Bright lights can hurt his eyes so that's the main reason he wears sunglasses all the time

Boner is a true legend. Bowie and Plant are amateurs next to this guy. The vocal range is incredible, and Boners guitar, it's truly insignificant. A legend.

I do like the album track, but the live performance of Exit is U2 at its hardest rocking best. I absolutely love it 🔥😍🤘🏼
