Story:
This takes place in the middle of the original Dream PMV. Sootsong and Thunderstripe have been exiled from Sootclan after Starclan gave leadership to the unqualified Spiderstar. They go into hiding in a cave system under ground while still keeping communication with Beestripe, who is under close watch from Spiderstar.
Thunderstripe grows uneasy around Sootsong, who doesn’t seem quite all there. Their relationship becomes strained as Thunderstripe battles with himself to keep faith that Sootsong has his best interest in mind.
It all comes to a head when Spiderstar calls a clan meeting and singles out Beestripe. He knows Beestripe has been conspiring with the enemy and he must be punished. Spiderstar traded a piece of territory to the mountain lion, Frost, in exchange for a favour.
Sootsong and Thunderstripe witness this. Thunderstripe readies himself to jump down and go rescue his friend but Sootsong stops him. Thunderstripe gets a chilling realization that Sootsong doesn’t look surprised at all. It’s like he was expecting this…

Somebody pointed out I never explained Beestripe’s scar and I realized the introduction of it in the Dream pmv was very vague and also just straight up wrong so here’s an actual project about it

It seems like eyes without pupils is a reoccurring theme here. Almost like StarClan is fully in control. Not like mind control. But their faith is unwavering and they're pulling the strings. Like with Soot, almost like he's asleep in the beginning and speaking. The mountain lion in its merciless doing and with Spider'star. Thunder has pupils because he sees there's something wrong here and his faith wavers.

Yeah, Spiderstar shouldn't even be a leader at all. So why did Starclan choose him? Unless this Starclan a lie? Or they're just not smart and they messed it up for the whole clan to be wiped out?

@@corrinagaia basically starclan is biased to Swiftstar and the entire concept of Dreamclan being the singular clan but now half the cats want a second clan so they’re trying to sabotage it by saying “okay you can have your clan however we’re going to choose who gets to be leader” and they picked the least competent cat in hopes he’d just destroy the entire clan and they’d have to reintegrate back into Dreamclan and starclan would say “whelp it was a good run but we told you this would happen!”

@ramkat8617 But was this the reason they formed a second clan cause a few young cats are impatient or upset that they should've been warriors by now and furious at their leader for not giving them their warrior rank? And Dreamclan is way too big and overpopulating, right?

I’m gonna go way more in depth about this in my next projects there will be one about Swiftstar’s entire backstory that highlights all the problems with dreamclan but the main point is Dreamclan is the amount of 4 clans mixed into one camp and they do not get along and their leader is incompetent and selfish so when sootsong shows up and proposes a second clan it seems like the best possible option

@@corrinagaia I’m planning a video from his perspective on this, he was raised with the intention of becoming leader because of his resemblance to the original leader of Dreamclan so to him it feels like his life’s purpose and he’s blinded by this entitlement to leadership and losing part of that role feels shameful to this legacy he’s expected to carry
