4:50 They have a bunch of those at my school. It's an older Simplex system from the 70's or 80's. Not sure what the panel is but the alarms are mainly Simplex 4041's with 4050-80 lights and 4251-20's as the pulls. Awesome test! You can never go wrong with the 70002T, such a cool alarm. I never knew that the System Sensor chime had more than just chime tones.

Same I just ordered a firelight BG 12 L but yours has the hex lock. The one I buy is a key. I hope you enjoy the alarm.

Very cool system test! A couple questions I have about this setup: 1. Why does the Wheelock 7002T sound all raspy? 2. What's the more specific model number of the 4904 strobe? Another thing is that integrity strobes are actually ceiling rated, though the 'FIRE' lettering isn't.

Thank you! To answer your questions: The 7002T sounds raspy due to the FWR output on the 3 zone EST FireShield. The full model of the Simplex strobe is 4904-9139. And also I’ve heard about the Integrity’s being ceiling rated. Some say they are while others say they are not. I’ve never really looked into it though. Either way it would be nicer to have the correct fire letting orientation if installing on the wall or ceiling. Thanks again for your comment!

I’ve seen that Simplex smoke detector at an office building before. I believe the model is 2098-9209. That office had a Simplex 4005 with 2099-9754 pull stations and 4903 horn/strobes as well (not sure if they were electronic or electromechanical horns).

Ionisation smoke detector are forbidden in Europe, this way no more radioactive bits in trash can and in the wild so photoelectric are common. It's mandatory to have fire detector in house, they sold with integrated battery that will last the lifespan of the detector (10 year and you must change them even if wired )

They're also being phased out here in North America as well.

Hey exitsign250. I think next system test you should do all single action (minus the fire-lite bg12-LX) pull stations

I thought the ourpose of a alarm was to get someones attention warning them of a fire that second system wouldnt even wake me
@auggatronicRoblox_official4 ай бұрын
signals like that are used in environments where loud isnt very nice, like hospitals
@dang484 ай бұрын
@@auggatronicRoblox_official The systems in places like hospitals or nursing homes, are two stage systems. First stage is the alert signal that a fire warden would hear and investigate. He or she would then use their key to put the system into alarm (second stage) if a fire is detected. Also, to minimize the chances of causing major distress (especially in nursing homes), some systems will use chimes for their first stage.
