Rapidgabber, I would have to agree with you. In the lyrics you see "es" - it. It, also, makes quite a bit of sense in the translation. The song seems to be directed at the world in general. It doesn't love me, It won't accept me, Why should I remain in it? That seems to be the sentiment conveyed in that bit of the song. Kind of weird, he would change from saying he hates the world to what a particular person did to him. Seems more general then specific.

@leonidasreal Well technically we have adopted words based on Latin origin, as a lot of modern words stem from lanuages such as Latin and Greek and old languages like that. The English language has been influenced by many other languages, but when you look back to a few centurys ago, the actual English language was a hell of a lot different. Also the reason they are called 'Classics' is because they are enjoyable to read , therefore to many people they are not a 'joke',

@NaciProductions We have had this discussion a lot. In latin there are (as of my last count) at least 30 different words that can be translated either directly or poetically as 'death'. Exitus poetic. Mortem literal. Exitus Translation: going out, going forth, a means of going out, end, finish, issue or result. English to Latin Death: Mors-, Letum-, Obitus. In a song surrounding not wanting to live, There is only one way to translate the end, and end to life, is death. Ta Da.
@madcat78913 жыл бұрын
@LegendNeiotless Eh abit. If i am correct,you mean that they arrest the person before they do it,as there are signs for this sort of things,and as or after they are commiting suicide they can do nothing about it. But what i meant in that post so long ago was to poke fun of the fact they can't really do anything after the person has commited suicide...unless they failed,then they can bring them to a judge.
@Whitedusk22511 жыл бұрын
Whatever keeps you happy man.
@redrugright14 жыл бұрын
@link670 Um Actually your translation is correct. Maybe they are confusing exitus with excessum, which means departure, death and digression. While exitus means going out, going forth, end ,finish, exit, withdrawing and outlet, it does not mean death.

Death, in its many forms,is the easy way out for some who can not deal with the problems in their life. As Waaacrazy already said,they are weakened by the stress and amount of problems they have. What they need to do is find others that can comfort them,for they need to fix their own problems.
@jefthereaper14 жыл бұрын
@NightwishMaiden death is a escape of life, and the absolute ending, it hurts but its the truthe. A heart can not beat without a boddy, nor can a boddy live without a heart, a mind cant think without a vessel. A boddy cant live without a mind, the same is for the soul, ones the boddy dies so do the soul, heart and mind. And there is no afterlife, heavon, hell, ghost realm, or anything like that. But just like a boddy, the soul can live a short time after death, (up to 2 weeks but thats it)
@Caledonia198615 жыл бұрын
I was once at the point where I thought that life held nothing in store for me anymore, that the only reason why I am alive is to suffer and dwell in my own solitude. Sounds depressing, but thats the way it is. And to think that suicide is weak is wrong. Every human, even animals want to live, such is their nature. Choosing to end this life is a hard desicion. And ending it is even harder. I have not done it, but I have known people who did it, so I can relate to it.

@GivaNakimura Ya, thats good. Most of the people commiting revenge think they can shock others with their deed, a final blow, seemingly critical to those who, according to the suicider, have hurt him or her... the only one you hurt, though, is yourself, and the ones that truly may have loved you, not the one that hurt you... in order to hurt them back either forgive them, or fight back... suicide is just accepting them as your superior, and you.. to be a slave of society.. .

@leonidasreal Well then, could i ask if you actually understand English classics then? Unless you fully understand the meanings behind these texts thn i dont see how you could judge them so.

Hmm... the lyrics I saw on that site actually differ from the ones you have here... They translated 'Hasse diese Welt, die nur Fragen stellt. Mich nicht liebt. Nicht akzeptiert. So wie ich bin sich für mich geniert? Es nicht interessiert, was mit mir passiert.' To 'I hate this world, that only asks questions. She doesn't love me. She won't accept me. So why is she embarrassed for me? She isn't interested in what happens to me.' Just thought I'd point this out. o.o

@Mirage5892 Wrong actually.E Nomine is in fact a christian band. They just used the album Finsternis to delve into the topic of the Occult. See Vater Unser (Our Father), their version of the lords prayer. Nearly turned me off the band when I first started listening to them, but then decided good music is still good music, not to mention unlike other Christian groups it is not preachy at all. Just uses elements of it in their music.
