“Embrace who you are and your divine purpose. Identify the barriers in your life, and develop discipline, courage and the strength to permanently move beyond them, and keep moving forward.” - Germany Kent "Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning." - Benjamin Franklin Hi guys! Let me just share to you a short story. We own a cookie shop business in our college town. When we first started it, we just graduated college and were living in our car with very little direction, just a huge passion to be successful. I started it out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night with my boyfriend, Bran. It was a crazy experience but it worked! We became a success! And how we have our first storefront location (a second one currently under construction but launching soon!) We started it to fund a year long backpacking trip around the world and to be successful while living the life of our dreams.

Key take aways.1) Know your audience 2) Things that matter for people who care. I have listened the whole interview. I think that Mr Phil gets two things wrong. 1) Funding a small bicycle shop is not interested for him? Considering his mindset he will never have funded Patagonia. Huge businesses sometimes have very humble beginnings. Richard Branson begins virgin as a shop! When the shop has a soul it can bloom like the flower behind you Mr Bryan. 2) shooting for the hit instantly. No consumer brands launch without a huge distribution network. It can be a recipe for failure for an entrepreneur. Why? In retail business you get to know why people buy your product by doing by getting foot on the ground. So you need a small distribution first. A consumer brand takes 10 years to build from scratch. Just look at FUBU. You can make the hit. But maybe you don't have the cash. The probability is low. So embrace your weirdness and think big. Good success for all the viewers
