Fun fact: EXO holds the fastest Sold Out concert in the world☺. I stan EXO just last year, and I really really hate myself because "WHY?!, WHY JUST NOW?!!", Ihate myself for not knwing them earlier, I really want to experience their concert too. But then Kai said "Even you are just a new fan, their love is equal", "You are not late, you discover EXO at the right time when you need them the most". So Iam here waiting for them.

The guy who was singing "Growl" with EXO-CBX (Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin) was Kangta who is the main vocalist of the very first Kpop group H.O.T. (High-Five of Teenager) who debuted in 1996. He is also now a solo artist, producer, vocal coach and board member of SM Entertainment. He is one of the reasons why Kpop even exists. He is the longest held artist under SM Entertainment.

Exo is on hiatus. While kyungsoo and xiumin have done there military service, 4 members are currently doing there 2 year military service (Baekyun, chanyeol, suho, and Chen) and Kia and sehun, still need to enlist. Exo will not all be together again till 2025😭 but in better news we have Kai new album coming out and xiumin said he has been working on his solo projects as well! Also confirmed recently, Chen and his wife are expecting their second baby!!🥳

You're right but to be fair, he's also done the least solo work out of all the main vocalists. There are tons of Baekhyun Chen solo live stages, collabs, covers and snippets of them singing on VLIVE ,radio etc. to choose from and in comparison barely any from Kyungsoo and most of it is from years ago so many people don't even know it exists. Look how long we had to wait for his first album lol.

The two songs you really like at 2:46 and 10:49 are Gravity and 24/7 from their Tempo album, a masterpiece!! 2 great songs! They are truly vocal kings!

Boy, if you enjoy Exo, you are a stan...don't hold back on their content..I don't care if it takes you 2 years to cover their amazing vocals, it's well worth the time..and a testament to them having garnered the title "Vocal Kings of Kpop"....regardless of all the amazing groups out there, in kpop, whether younger or older, with fantastic rapping, dancing, concepts or styles..including vocals btw...that title will stay with Exo, probably for a very long time. Younger groups have grown up admiring Exo...covering their most favorite Exo songs, whether singing or dancing to them, whether boy or girl groups, they know Exo's incredible talent...it's undeniable. And like you said, they are a amazing with harmonization, it is a classic Exo signature. The way they can accomodate each other's voices in a very cohesive, beautiful way, they know music very well...their musicality is their strength. So they play on those strengths with many pop, r&b, jazz, love songs....they love to sing more than anything, so consider them crooners...compared to other groups you are experiencing. Yes, a sort of hiatus...with Chanyeol and Baekhyun having just left for service..Chen and Suho coming back next year, Kai and Sehun getting ready to leave soon, D.O. and Xiumin just coming home this year...I don't know what if any plans for whomever is available and at home is right now...and that would be 4, D.O., Xiumin, Kai and Sehun. It's rumored Kai is next to leave, so I'm sure he's been busy putting out this new album next week. D.O. is busy filming. But I wish these 4 could do a new song together before the younger ones leave..they do have individual schedules too. They do tv talk or reality shows and alot of modeling. And movies of course. So for Exol, the Exo drought is real, we feel it...and in the meantime have alot of content to revisit, watch tv shows they are a part of, or watch new reactors like you. I can count on my hands the few amazing reactor channels I have been a part of for a long time...like old friends now...and when they found Exo, they fell in love...many of them Armys, that never felt the need to check out Exo, as if it was a sin or something...or being traitors to their favs...and upon just one video, just one...the vocals drew them in...and for like a year or 2 dove into EVERYTHING Exo, and never turned back. Of course they do their favs too, or new younger groups like I do...but Exo hit them as incredibly special...and they get very angry that they didn't start Exo earlier....all that they missed out on...so they made it a mission to follow their heart, and the blooming love that stole their heart, with their new found, professed love of Exo. And I've been with Exo since 2011. I watched them grow up in front of the cameras...granted, a few songs I may not vibe with, but the ones that really display those great vocals that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE...omg, vocal kings indeed. And Exol are starving now for any content...so I've been watching Chinese tv reality shows with Lay in it, and the Street Dance of China series. And a live performance of Lay was just released, you should check it out, 2 songs from the "East" album, he's so enigmatic! Some have captions, but most don't...but do I care? Hell no... Songs that showcase them Exo harmonies...lyric videos for "Wait" "Good Night" "What I Want for Christmas" "Miracles in December" CBX's "Thursday" and "Monday Blues" Chen's "Beautiful Goodbye"(mv), but the rest are b-side lyric videos. Maybe do a bunch in one reaction...it seals the deal on their vocals...come on RJ, give us a Thanksgiving treat and throw us a turkey bone...please? Love you lots. No one else sounds like Exo. No one.💙🌺

This is what I mean😭😭😭 this is exactly what I mean. I love everything about EXO. Definitely they’re all visuals. great dancers and insane performers but what really made me a die hard stan is their vocals, their high notes, lower registry, falsettos, runs, harmonisation, tone, vocal ability in general. Their songs saved me. They saved me in all the possible ways a person can be saved.They’re my Saviour. My ultimate Idol. To me they’re the ultimate definition of perfection. We are One. Yup, EXO is on hiatus but you won't run out of contents. Their albums are definitely a must to react. Their B-sides never disappoint, so diverse and full of amazing vocals. There are also shows and live performances/concerts. There are a lot of subunits and solos contents too.

I feel the same, till now I'm regretting that I became a fan this late (May 2021) if only I became one earlier then maybe I could have attended their concerts, enjoys pre-order benefits and others merchandise that nowhere to be found now but Suho - our leadernim once said "It doesn't matter when you became a fan, it's the same love" so from now on let's just support them, they're really good bunch of humble, talented and handsome men ! And did you noticed that you paused twice on Chen ? Our Chennie Chen Chen is having their 2nd baby with wife and we, fans are soo happy :) Just sharing that beautiful news. Actually it was Kai that said the "it doesn't matter when you became a fan, the love is all the same". He then shouted "because we (EXO) will love you twice as much" or something like that, and scared the s#@$ out of Chanyeol, it was hilarious and super-duper touching. Made me feel like it was ok that I have only been a fan for 2 years. That's still 2 years more than I had before I knew them.

@K-POP FLYING because exo themselve do not adhere to hip-hop and rap kind like that, so when chanyeol collaborated with a female rapper on an mnet show he apologized to teacher lee soo man for bringing hip-hop (to get out of exo's concept at that time). Back again according to taste, Chanyeol's own way of rap is the best and suits my ears. Right! Exo don't have much opportunity to create their own music, that's how strict SM is! Considering that Lay's song for exo entitled Promise was accepted after a lot of time and effort after being ignored, and it became Lay's first song to be recognized by SM. When even some exo members' albums are made outside of SM studio (like exo-sc made by Chanyeol's team at Chanyeol's studio) it will be bad thing when there's no promotion from SM at all. As difficult as it was for EXO to develop themselves in SM, I'm grateful that Lay can now stand alone and make his own music, as well as Chanyeol who is a little rebellious.

SM is very good at looking for gems polish them. SM has a knack looking for people at the most random places but their scout team really have good eyes for potential. They actually never scout any idol trainees from other labels, or trade trainees, something that happened a lot back then. They also have the toughtest training system among idol labels. They hired real professionals as coaches to guide the trainees. People who already made name worldwide kind of pros. At the same time, they are extremely strict with the trainees' progress. The trainees had it rough.

SM artists can sing, all of them has great vocals but for me EXO are on a whole another level, the main dancers can sing, rappers can sing, well obviously the vocalists can sing. Their vocal ranges are so wide, they can pull off the lower and higher range, they can even go octaves higher and yes we STAN vocal kings😊

I never doubted you being an Exol haha you even have a bias. But they have some of the best B sides. They are technically on a hiatus since half of them are in the military and Lay is promoting in China. But they picked the best time to go in during the pandemic when they can't tour anyways lol. Strangely during this hiatus/pandemic/military period there has been so many baby exols who came in this fandom. As a 7 year long exol I am proud to see you all come in for this ride. When they are able to tour again as 9, you'll be glad you became one. I went to one concert back in 2015 and it was amazing. Did not disappoint.

I'm angry as well. They held several concerts here in Manila, and I haven't been into one. If only I knew them sooner. Need to wait til 2025 til the last member finish serving the military. By that time I think it would be even more difficult to buy tickets. not only because it's their long awaited comeback, also because they gained more fans during this pandemic.

We don't actually call it hiatus but Enlistment and baby era (samchoon era) 😂 you don't feel them in hiatus because of solo careers and military careers (duty and musicals). Exo is indeed on hiatus. Xiumin and D.O. completed their military service. Suho, Chen, Chanyeol and Baekhyun are currently serving. Kai and Sehun will probably enlist next year. Even though exo as a group is on hiatus, the members individually are very busy. D.O. just finished filming a movie and is now filming another movie, after that he's going to film a kdrama. Lay is promoting in China. Kai is preparing for his solo comeback. Xiumin is doing a lot of variety shows lately. 🥰 There is also a rumor that there is going to be a new exo duo unit and a Sehun solo debut.

EXO's discography is Rhodium. That's how they got me, good quality music. R&B/Soul. Every members vocals or vocal texture is a win. SM Entertainment harvested well.

@@exomake_mehorololo We are more than lucky... blessed. They were mostly scouted at talent shows or street cast... They put in work to find them then sent them to audition for SM. Chen and Kai were open auditions, bless Chen's music teacher and Kai's dad. SM knows talent and how to hunt. Not just vocals but unique vocal textures. Casting would not stop hounding Moon Taeil of NCT to go audition and I can see why. Every person, the team under that roof that finds these artists has a professorship in harvesting. It is not easy to find talent. EXO's talents are a once in a lifetime find, OT9 in one group. Proficient.

Watching vocal coaches and singers reacting to that particular performance of EXO where they are sitting down, I always hear them say it's way harder to sing like that. It's better to stand when you sing because it allows you to use your lungs to the full capacity without the pressure on the other organs or ribs. That means you'll struggle to get enough breath in, while you sit down and try to sing. But watching EXO doing that seems so natural and easy, Vocal Kings indeed.

Months before he enlisted, he prepared lots of videos (vlog) that are being uploaded every 17th of the month for us EXO-Ls so we won’t miss him that much. But SM deleted all the videos that were uploaded and released a statement that they will not be uploading more videos (Kyoongtube).

Well technically, they should be in hiatus because they're in the enlistment period, but EXO being EXO, they are still gaining more fans even during this period and still being iconic as ever. They're now focusing on their solo careers since there are only four members which two of them are left to enlist. DFTF was a special album released for the fans. They know how much we miss them and how hard it is during their absence. But even so, the album managed to sell a million physical copy making them Sextuple Million Sellers.

I feel the music to close my eyes.The EXO has so much powerful vocals and the breath control is amazing 🤩. It shows that they are very well trained. Suho is such a underrated vocalist in the group. He may not be officially part of the vocal line but fans consider him so. The way he had so much control over that long note for the musical performance is amazing. he rally improved once he started training for his musicals.

EXO are the vocal kings in Kpop 😬 Yes it's amazing and definitely big luck on SM part they were able to pull so much incredible talent into 1 group. And not just singing. Kyungsoo is as talented in acting as some of most respected actors in Korea... Suho is also an amazing actor actually. Other members like Chanyeol also have great talent for acting. In my personal opinion, Our three main vocals D.O., Baekhyun and Chen. I have always had a major impression of each. D.O. - R&B king of runs and riffs. Soulful sound in EXO. Chen - absolute power house. not just for high notes, but for sheer ability to be heard for any tone and can go on forever. Baekhyun - Unique sound and ability to adapt to any genre or style. Most stable voice In EXO. As for the rest of the group, a lot of their vocals people sleep on because they are more well know for other things like dance, rap, or personality. Suho is an all round along with Lay and Xiumin. They can fill multiple roles in the group, but when you listen to their individual vocals, you find superior gems in each. Same goes for Kai, Chanyeol and Sehun, who in the beginning, mostly rapped or did background vocals. Now that you've heard them sing solo / singles, you get to appreciate that they are just as well rounded as the others. Honestly, I feel at this point in their careers, they are all All Rounders. Another thing I think is amazing with this group that I don't think you can do with any group of people, is you can take any mix up of them and they will sound just as perfect as they do now. Mean, you could probably make every possible sub unit mix up of the 9 guys in this group, and each one will be just as successful as the next, because their voices are so cohesive in any scenario. CBX, SC.....even if you too suho, Chen and Chanyeol, or Kai, D.O. and Sehun, or Lay, Xiumin and Baekhyun, or Suho, Baekhyun, or Sehun , Xiumin......whatever the combination you go with, you have gold and you have magic. They are not on hiatus. They are each required to enlist for their mandatory military service. Clearly, if they were on hiatus, Don't Fight the Feeling wouldn't have happened. But for a while, until they all serve their military terms, they will not be the full 9 members. They will be doing a lot of their solo albums and SM Stations, collaborations and so on until the full group reunites. I'm sure that when certain members are back, they'll do another comeback when they have enough to do so, like Don't fight the felling and obsession. Once Chen and Beakhyun are back, we might even get a new CBX album. WHo knows. I do have a few suggestions for you in case you haven't seen them yet. You definately need to see their TWO live acoustic performances. I say two because they are slightly different. One you have kai and sehun do a duet dance, while chanyeol and lay play guitar, but neither of them get singing time. In the other, its' more playful, both Lay and chanyeol also get to sing and unfortunately kai was injured and coudln't dance with sehun. So I'm going to post them both here. Also , you NEED to check out Call Me Baby for real now. I would also highly suggest the live of White noise/playboy/thunder/artificial lover and a few of the B side songs from albums with no visual video, so just lyric vids. I will post all of them below for you. Take time and check them out, as you have noticed, you will never be disappointed. Now please be advised, I have chosen these versions to show you because I believe them to be the best performances and the videos with the best quality. A lot will tell you not to do them because they are the Japanese concert clips, but just Be sure to pause so you dont get dinged. Do not be afraid to do these vids, I see people do these reactions all the time and never have a problem. Just make sure to pause when you see something you like, maybe cover tv logos or rewind, trust me, we don't mind rewinds lol. Anyhow, enjoy.....I can't wait to see you react to these... They’re truly the vocal kings of kpop no one can beat them SUHO is great vocalist and very underrated but this compilation showed how much he is good and for me he’s my second favorite tone in Exo. He wasn’t main vocalist but he has became one of them in few years ago obviously not because he’s not good but because the other three (chen , baekhyun and kyungsoo) are just incredible Chen is MONSTER in singing and he has a very beautiful tone in ballad songs (his albums are ballad) Baekhyun’s voice is like a white paper and you can tell him to sing any genre and he will do it perfectly (in his latest album he went HIGH to note C6 in “all i got” which no one in the 3rd gen in kpop did that!!) Kyungsoo’s voice and tone are my favorite ,most of people don’t pay attention to his vocals specially in compilations like this but he can do riffs and runs like NO ONE in kpop can do it (except his vocal coach who was R&B king of his generation) , he’s known as R&B King of kpop (you should check out his song called “tell me what is love” it’s duet with his vocal coach + he has spanish song in his solo album) Xiumin is an UNDERRATED vocalist actually he’s an ACE he has and can pull any position from being vocalist,rapper,dancer and actor,etc I think you should react to a compilation for the members who weren’t in this compilation cause they are GOOD Here’s a link of compilation for the rest of the members: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIKZnYSVYp17fqc And for you being an ExoL or not , i think at this point you’re an ExoL if you enjoy their songs and like them and it doesn’t matter when you became ExoL cause we(ExoLs) and Exo love you and appreciate you ☺️ +don’t be worry even if they’re in hiatus we still can have their solos , dramas , movies or even variety shows ,You won’t run out of content😁 Thx for the reaction 😊

EXO has been on hiatus since late 2019 as they take turns enlisting. Probably make a full comeback in 2024/2025 as 2 youngest members (Kai and Sehun) have yet to enlist. That's why you see them do a lot of solo projects like acting, modelling, musicals, solo albums, etc. Out of 9 members, 6 (Lay, Chen, Suho, Baekhyun, D.O. and Kai) have successful solo albums. Kai will be releasing his second album on 30 Nov 2021. Xiumin is preparing for his solo album now. So in the near future, that would make 7 members with solo albums. Crazy right? I love them so much.
