When they're in the military they are like normal citizens. And everyone who goes get payed for their service. So no they don't get payed unless they are involved in the making of the music etc. Which I believe they aren't allowed to do unless they have recorded stuff already and it's just being posted at a later date. Like chanyeol and baekhyun did for the exo comeback.

For the 2 years they are enlisted, they do not get paid by the label and their contracts are “frozen” or paused. So say their contract is 8 years, it will be 10 because for 2 years, they are not under contract per say. They do get a military pay like all who enlist. So when you see a LOT of activity from a male idol, chances are, they are close to their enlistment. Chanyeol and Baekhyun did projects prior, so they do get royalties.

But have you seen the mv "Runner" with Baekhyun, Raiden on the beats and synth, Changmo, one of the best rappers of today's scene in Korea, and T1, the League of Legends World Champions, for South Korea, with the legendary Faker, who has been one of the best gamers for 10 years in this team, known worldwide in the gaming world, no one wants to mess with him. Baekhyun did a collab with Raiden and Changmo making a sort of anthem song for T1, and Baekhyun being a big gamer, got to meet his idol Faker when making this song, he said he was physically shaking when he met him in the flesh. Samsung paid big bucks to have T1 and Baek, Raiden and Changmo for this collab. You should check the mv out, "Runner".

@@해피해피-x1o he isn't an official main dancer but Lay called Kai, Sehun and himself the main dancers, he is included much more in the dance line than xiumin, also in 2016 melon awards' intro kai is the center in the growl group, lay in the overdose group and sehun in the call me baby one so him being considered part of the main dance line isn't completely wrong

As someone who have been attend EXO's concert: exploration, I just wanna say that EXO's voice sound better in live even better than their recording. They were clear and stable & control their breath really well as a kpop group who always dances. That's the reason I only like EXO in kpop.
