The power of music is "the war" repackaging album. Includes all the songs from the war album (kokobop) and 3 more songs ( power, boomerang and sweet lies) After mama mini album , the next album is XOXO (wolf) but you should do the repackaging album (growl) Normally every full album of exo (except for obsession, winter albums not included) has a repackaging album. They contain all the songs plus 3 more songs:Exodus ( overdose)= love me right repackage, ex'act ( monster) = Lotto, Don't mess up my tempo (tempo) =Love Shot. And between albums comes the winter albums. After mama, miracles in December, love me right->Sing for You, lotto->for life, power->universe. There wasn't another winter album after love shot so they sang "Wait" in the repackaging album as our winter song.

The War doesn‘t have 4 Versions. And please go by order with the reactions and don‘t just jump to that album. So explanation time: EXO almost always comes back with a REPACKAGED Album. That means they add 3 more songs to the original album and call the Album by a different name once they re-release it with additional tracks. For the MAMA EP there is no repackaged one because it‘s an EP. But after MAMA there comes their first full length album „XOXO“ , it has a repackage too. But I think it has the same name. The first Song they came out with for XOXO was „Wolf“ and EXO got a lot of hate for that. But then they came back with „Growl“ and I think a few more additional songs on the album and they became so frikkin big. Growl blew them up.

The war has 4 versions because Exo released a repackage version called The Power of Music with additional 3 songs. The title track for The War album is Kokobop, whereas the title track for the repackage version is Power. They released repackage versions for their albums since the 2nd one, with additional songs. Obsession doesn't have one though, maybe because of the enlistment of the members and the solo projects of the remaining ones. Btw, I'm impressed that you're recognizing all the members now! And yes, that was Luhan, the one after that is Kris, and the next one with the black hair is Tao. lol Alan's comment about the dance move was hilarious.

EXO's "History" MV is supposed to be an introduction for EXO and it was meant to begin to establish their storyline and concept as a group. As aliens from Planet Exo, the members are about to be sent to Earth on a mission. "History" is thought to be about how EXO are still on Planet Exo and they are preparing to be sent to Earth. So that is why it has a very futuristic look and feel to it. There isn't a whole lot of story because it is a pre-debut MV so this was meant to just introduce the members and establish their concept. "History" is EXO's second pre-debut track. It came out about 2 months after their first pre-debut song and MV "What is Love," and about 2 months before "Mama," which is EXO's official debut, so this is more than 8 years ago. Actually their origin story starts with "Mama." "History" is just the introduction of the storyline and it explains what led up to the events in "Mama.". As you might have noticed, in the EXO-K version of "History" you only saw the EXO-K members singing, and in the middle of the song you see them flash to the EXO-M members, however, in the EXO-M version you see that the EXO-M members are the main characters in the story and they only show the EXO-K members briefly. This establishes how the two groups are separate and yet still are all part of one group which is EXO. Both versions of their MVs may look the same on the surface, but the story is slightly different because it is being told from a different angle or different perspective in each version. The guy you never seem to remember is Luhan, the other main vocalist of EXO-M. As you saw in "What is Love," Luhan is the member of EXO-M who is D.O.'s vocal equivalent. And Chen is the member of EXO-M who has the same role as Baekhyun. The next one who you didn't know is indeed Kris, who is the leader of EXO-M and the main rapper of the group. Kris has the same role as Chanyeol and Chanyeol and Kris are even connected through their powers. Tao is pronounced T-ah-w (not toe). Tao is one if the rappers in EXO-M and he is the martial artist of the group. To understand the story in their "History" MV this is one time where it is helpful to look up the lyrics. The song is called "History" and in the lyrics they talk about making history. It's about failing at something and trying again to make it right. So, the theory is that in this part of the story EXO made some sort of unknown "big mistake" on their planet, so they have been sent to Earth to try and right their wrongs by trying to prevent the Red Force from causing a "big mistake" or prevent humanity from allowing a "big mistake" to happen on Earth. They are trying to prevent "History" from repeating itself. And they want to make "History" here on Earth. It establishes the whole reason why EXO are fighting against the Red Force and why they need to find the Tree of Life and restore peace. They can't let whatever happened on their planet happen again on Earth, etc. However, just so you know, we didn't fully understand that was what the MV and song was trying to tell us, until several years later, after we had more context to go on after we had several other MV stories and more information. But that is why we say, if you want to try and follow EXO's story you have to pay attention to everything and you have to remember as much detail about everything you have ever seen and heard from EXO. Because although you might think you understand one piece of EXO's story, with every new release from EXO, we get a little more information, and, sometimes it helps to confirm what we thought to be true and sometimes it turns the whole theory on its head and makes us realize what was happening wasn't what we thought after all. What complicates this even more is the fact that almost nothing in their storyline is in chronological order, so we, as EXO-Ls, have to become detectives and analyze every aspect of everything any of the members are involved in to try and piece it all together and figure out where each part fits within their larger storyline. And I literally mean everything, from their teaser videos, to their MVs, to their song lyrics and live performances, concert VCRs and even some of their choreography, as well as their sub-unit and solo work. Everything EXO does is connected. To see their dancing better, check out the dance practice for "History" the choreography is very unique. They have an EXO-K dance practice and an EXO-M dance practice. And it's one of their few choreographies where the two groups are not combined because they were completely separate groups in this MV. The part of the dance where they put their hands in their pockets and shake their pants, I interpret as the nervousness and uncertainty that they are feeling as they are about to embark on this new journey as they prepare to go to Earth and also as a representation of the nerves and excitement they are feeling as they are about to debut. As you can see, even the choreography is designed to tell the story.

Will you react to their winter albums? They're like EXO's Christmas gift to the fans. They're as follows: Miracles in December (2013)- released it after Growl repackage Sing for You (2015)- released after Love Me Right repackage For Life (2016)- released after Lotto repack Universe (2017)- after The war: the power of music repack. Unfortunately, this is their last winter album. They released a winter single in 2014 entitled December 2014- A Winter's Tale. The thing you have to remember is EXO releases a repackage album after their full studio albums. Basically, they're just the studio albums with 3 additional songs.

First is Luhan, 2nd is Kris, 3rd is Tao (pron.sound like cow, how, now, Tao) the Chinese members who left. Lay is the last Chinese member and still stuck in China since 2016-2017. Still in Exo. Of course like the name Tao, Chinese language pronunciation is different from Korean...well duh..not dissing you guys. Please skip the Exact album and do the Lotto Repackaged album which has a couple new songs added to the Exact track list. You don't have to listen to the Chinese version of songs unless you want to. But the Lotto album is titled "Exact [Lotto] 3rd album Repackaged". My favorite album after EXO CBX "Blooming Days" which is best to do the lyric videos for all seven songs, each song named for each day of the week. CBX is vocal heaven.💙💙💙🌺

Agreed with you about their vocal. And I also love korean version & EXO-K version first. But Chen still nailed in Mandarin version. But Luhan still a little bit lack in term of vocal stability or range compared to D.O. , Baekhyun & Chen. But he still a good singer. I love Suho sweet voice too.

I'll try to answer as many questions as possible from my bad memory. In order of former EXO members appearance of the EXO-M version of History is Luhan, Kris, and Tao (pronounced as the first part of the word "towel". Just take out the "el" from the end. I feel like this song and video are very "SM style". There are four versions of the albums because there is the original release (one in Korean and Mandarin) and then there's the repackaged albums that are also released in Korean and Mandarin that would have like an extra 2-3 songs. By the way, it is pronounced Mandarin (like the fruit). Thank you so much for reacting to both EXO-K and EXO-M. Most people would only to EXO-K due to the views and the fact that their keeping their videos K-pop. Sometimes Korean versions seem better, sometimes it's the Mandarin versions that seem better, and sometimes both versions are equal. Either way, both versions are great. Oh yeah, since Suho is the second oldest and the leader of EXO, he personally requested to have less lines and less screen time to let his younger members shine. Suho is described by fans to have a very honey like voice. It's just so sweet. The type of voice you want singing you a lullaby. Xiumin is the same way but he started off in EXO with little confidence and wanted to stay in the back of performances. He was supposed to be a main dancer but he didn't want the attention so he's a lead dancer as well as lead vocalist, and a rapper (sometimes). In EXO-CBX he's the leader, lead vocalist, main rapper, and main dancer though. Xiumin actually hits the highest note in EXO. If you see fancams of Xiumin performing, you probably wouldn't think he had stage freight or anything especially during the "Tell Me What is Love" performance at one of the award shows called "MAMA". These days he seems more confident.
