EXO (pronounced as X-O) have been around since 2011 and debuted on 2012 before BTS. They are 9 members, in this mv they are only 6 because 2 in the military and 1 is in china, busy with his solo career. They are million Sellers group since 2013 and no one beats them. Their concerts get sold out in less than a second. The most versatile group, the VOCAL KINGS, Korea's Nation Pick. You guys have no idea how big they are. Okay, so, I'll try to make this as brief as possible. (FAILED) There is a LOT to cover, but this is the simple version. EXO is a group that debuted in 2012 originally with 12 members. They have a very unique concept/backstory. EXO are legends from EXO Planet. They each have superpowers, (You saw some of that in the video). They have an enemy simply named the RED FORCE. This enemy has attempted since the very beginning to devour EXO and the heart of the tree of life. In the beginning, to protect the tree of life, they split it in half and came to Earth. They have been here for many thousands of years, protecting us from the Red Force. Recently, we learned Red Force created clones of their Dark Sides, giving us X-EXO, the dark leathery clad in the video. The EXO in swat suits are the good EXO. Now there is WAY WAY WAY MORE to the story, because with each MV we get more story line clues, even though they are not in order. But, that was the short version. Now some shit happened over the years, and without getting too deep into it, 3 of the original Chinese members left. So, to this date, EXO is 9 members strong. As of this MV, two members, D.O. and Xiumin are currently serving their mandatory military service. Lay, the remaining Chinese member, is in China promoting his solo career due to the fact that he is unable as an ambassador for china to perform with EXO in Korea. (political tensions between two countries right now) EXO members are as follows: with (shout out) to recognize them in this video. Leader SUHO: he is an All Rounder. (red hair) Vocal, visual, dancer, he is the "mom" of the group, and his superpower is water. KAI: he is the main dancer (crop top) He is the Face of the group, their center, vocal, visual, rapper, and his superpower is teleportation. CBX only consists of three of the members and EXO-SC is two members. Some of the members have solo albums under their belt. They have ALL acted, some more than others. They have participated in SM Stations, which are songs created as singles or collabs with other SM Entertainers. They also love to perform Covers of songs. I.E. Open Arms, Billionaire, All of Me.... Groups may have been coming back in the western scene but it has never been dead in Kpop haha! They've been doing it for decades. I think it's already the 3rd or 4th generation of Kpop idol groups now. And the mixing of genres in one song has been a thing in Kpop for many years. Back to EXO, they debuted as a 12-member boy group back in 2012. They were divided into 2 groups - EXO K & EXO M. EXO K stands for EXO Korean and EXO M stands for EXO Mandarin. They used to promote in S. Korea and China respectively. Then 3 out of 4 of the Chinese members left to pursue their own paths. So EXO is left with 9. But now, they are only 6 of them (not permanently, though). 2 of them are now in the army (Korean men has this mandatory enlistment for around 2 years, even celebs! BTS will also serve soon) and the only Chinese member left is busy promoting in Chna (I think there's something about political tension as well, im not entirely sure). More of the EXO members will enlist soon, so as many other K-Pop artists, including BTS. I think they need to enlist before they turn 30.

You should definitely check out EXO , cause they have all varieties and genres. Amongst all I recommend Monster dance practice, Love Shot KBS performance, Vocals in EXO Tempo and R& B in What is love, their slow songs also the best (Promise, Sing For You, 24/7, Been Through, Don't go, Wait) . Their LIVE concert are the best, check El Dorado , Wolf, Run this, Drop that , Gravity and many more. You ll know why they are one of the best Kpop idols. But my ultimate fav is when they just sit down and flex their vocals, with a(two) guitar in EXO Acoustic Medley.

They formed in 2011 debuting on April 8, 2012 under SM Entertainment. Their music is a unique combination of music genres performed in Korean, Chinese/Mandarin, and Japanese. In 2014 last time EXO was separated as subgroups to release music, they’ve been active as one group since then performing in multiple languages. EXO remained with 9 members after the departures of Kris(main rapper), Tao, & LuHan after legal issues arose between them & S.M company during 2014 and 2015. In 2016 three of the nine members have a sub unit EXO-CBX while still being part of EXO, which incorporates their stage name initials for Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin.
