Did you know that EXO's Lay first wrote this song in Chinese (cause Lay is Chinese) and then later it was translated to Korean by Chanyeol? This song was written after 3 members had left and EXO-Ls were devastated because of that and the social media was flooded with depressing posts and all that stuff... He wrote this song to show their gratitude towards EXO-Ls. Yeah, they dedicated this song to their fans and that is the reason the line comes , "Even if it's hard and I'm tired, even if my heart is in pain,I'll go on stage again, I'll muster up my strength once again, for you who has waited for me". We EXO-Ls have a mantra, it's kind of like our slogan "We Are One", and it's mentioned in the song a lot of times (you'll see that in the lyrical version). They made a promise to their fans of never making them sad again and never letting them cry again after they had already broken their promise of staying together (refer to Chanyeol's rap). That is the reason this song is really close to all EXO-Ls as we call our selves a Family and we have seen EXO working their asses off and getting hurt a lot of times because of that. You will literally be shocked if you saw their schedule... It's ALWAYS packed. Lay flies back and forth between Korea and China at least 3 times a week. They produce 2 albums per year (the winter album being a special gift for EXO-Ls again) and after that comes the Tours and not to forget their personal schedules like when they have to shoot for their movies and dramas and stuff. I'm sorry, I'll shut up now... I've said a lot... It's probably the EXO-L feels... #WEAREONE

Thank you for reading all that LOL XD. I never thought anybody would read that lecture XD. Well, I wasn't with them when they went through all those hard times. I joined the fandom, my Family in 2016 January. And yet whenever I hear or read about these things I can't help but feel like brawling my eyes out. I feel like beating myself up for why the hell was I running after 1D who happened to have debuted in the same year as EXO (2012). And yes, we ALL (Korean and International fans) LOVE AND SIMPLY ADORE THEM. These boys have been through so much... They may be from one of Korea's best and biggest production companies, but they still didn't grow famous over night. SMent may be great but it also has a very bad reputation as to how they treat their idols... Seeing them now, would you believe that after their debut, EXO was labeled as "The Flop Group of SM entertainment" because apparently they didn't meet the "expectations" of being an "SM group". They have suffered so much for their success. Its hard work and dedication. They never forget where they were... Where they have been and that's why they never forget to mention in their award function speeches - "Work hard, work harder and harder. Even if you become the best of who you are, never forget to work hard and reach your dreams". LOL Kai even said, "Don't even think about neglecting your studies just to be with us. Don't even dare think about meeting me if you can't work hard for yourself." They are the sweetest things in the world for me. For all us EXO-Ls, they are like the most kind hearted and beautiful angels. They even labeled us, EXO-Ls as the "Worst fandom" LMAO. I was get chills when I listen to this song. I actually cried when I heard this the first time. It was around the time I got invested into EXO so it broke my heart. While I do miss them as 12 they are all doing well as 9 and the other 3 are doing well too. I support them all.

Yixing is the one who wrote and composed it and it's initially in chinese, it was one of the 99 songs he lost when his hard disc burned, but he rewrote it after he felt a bit better recovering from his emotional breakdown. then Chen and Chanyeol wrote the korean ver lyrics please have some respect for him, because this songs means lot lot to him and holds so much of his own memories.

The EXO-K promoting in Korea were physically tired, the EXO-M, who just finished promoting in China, (its their leader who left) emotionally tired. and the fans were badly hurt thats why this song was created..
