I run 70w in mine on recommendation from Harley who runs 80w to 90w. So far I'm super happy.. Should have used the Vanquish servo arm, it's designed to work with the suspension geometry. I use 80 wt oil in the shocks all around and stiff rear springs. Also the 21 percent overdrive really makes the pro a serious climber. Just my 2 cents after a year plus crawling with mine.

The distance between the motor plate and the transmission housing is about 59.8mm, the Fusion is 64mm long. There's no where you can grind to gain 4mm. I went through this with my VFD Capra which is over on RCCrawler.
@stevesrandomadventures90663 жыл бұрын
A lot of guys are taking off the red cap from the motor and stuffing it in there
@gravity13 жыл бұрын
@@stevesrandomadventures9066 It looks like that would gain you about enough to get it to fit. The motor is pretty well sealed under the cap but it looks like the aluminum cap is acting as a heat sink for that one bit under it with the thermal pad on it. I wonder if removing it would cause heat issues with the electronics since the Fusion already tends to run warm. On the VFD transmission I put in my Capra I ended up making a 10mm longer top shaft and longer standoffs between the motor plate and the transmission case. I only have a Fusion in it at the moment but I have enough room now to fit any 550 can motor.
