Starting with the basecamp, I always thought the tiny links was an odd place to cut cost. I mean, how much more would it cost to put thicker links on? It can’t be more than a couple bucks.

I remember when Ridgeline was about your only obstacle. Or at least the original pile on concrete. It has come a long way 😊.

What is better the Vanquish or a RedCat Acsent with a Fusion Pro and tire upgrade?
@flat-out11 ай бұрын
Yeah I want to see a comparison runs here from Joe with those trucks.

I want to see a upgraded Acsent vs the Vanquish for sure. Great idea

I just watched Harley's review on this.The trans on the rtr doesn't have the machined and lightened gears and motor plate like the kit does.Also it doesn't have the high pinion axles like on the kit.Uses Fordyce axles.

That’s pretty impressive! It really does get after it. 👍👍😁😎✌️

I get that the color is a play on the standard tennis ball gates, but I wish they would add more options other than silver and yellow without having to get the clear.
@ExocagedRC11 ай бұрын
Well just get a can of whatever color you want

This rig would love some Deez shock bands with those stock shocks and a little more brass like you said. Definitely likely that this is the most capable RTR yet. I think that was the first RTR that you’ve had make it through the crack of doom.

Does the RTR come with the 3 different shock ends like the Carbon? Also, which are you running on your Carbon? I have the mid length version. I might try the short ones.

how would you say the performance is on this vs the ascent with the DSM chassis?

Why are the tires so big

@@ExocagedRC what exactly needs to be shimmed? Do you have a video on it? If not might be worth making one because all my vfds do that and I’d like to eliminate that sound lol

I wanted a Vanquish just to get into the hobby at 44yr old tomorrow after months of watching videos on KZbin. Had a Nitro Traxxas many years ago now but nothing since and fell back in love and wanted to try electric. I ended up with a PS5 bundle instead for Christmas and while I'm always appreciative and thankful and don't really ask for anything as fun as the PS5 is I 𝑹𝑬𝑨𝑳𝑳𝒀 wanted my 1st RC🙄
@flat-out11 ай бұрын
🤣🤣 you're in the wrong channel buddy...Gran Turismo or Call of Duty ain't here. But welcome to the RC world. Don't get a Traxxas, but if you have to get a TRX-4. Or Start with a Redcat Ascent like what Joe featured here, low budget but more than capable crawler. Or if not a crawler get the Team Associated Rival MT10 or Arrma Kraton or Mojave 4S.

Don't use milk it makes them spongy. The trick is to add sour cream right before they are done. You'll thank me later.
@ExocagedRC11 ай бұрын
Sour cream? In eggs?
@bbeckers2411 ай бұрын
@ExocagedRC I only use a tablespoon or 2 when making 4 eggs. Got the idea from Gordon Ramsay. He says to use heavy cream, but we always have sour cream on hand and yeah, it's the way to go. Add just before they are done. Do it too soon and they start to get spongey like they do with milk and the sour cream gets too runny and less creamy.
