Grabbed a set of these from the Rlaarlo store on Amazon for my AM-X12... They are cast metal, so heavier than aluminum, but should be almost indestructible for bashing. I have a few other upgrades to do, but this AM-D12 is looking more appealing every vid I see.

Steel is way better Han aluminum it’s just the weight . Also, when they say, aluminum and titanium, is stronger than steel what they mean is, it is stronger for weight wise. The pound of aluminum is huge compared to a pound of steel or an ounce, but that strength is again based on weight it is strong and not bad, carbon, fiber, or titaniumM&M. It’s just good to keep those things in mind. Nobody talks about it. Nobody talks about it.

Do you air compressor these pups or leaf blower with all that sand and it does wear on parts with the grit ? I’ve been leaf blowing the dust then silicone oil then blow it out for a good minute and it dries like new

Stuck that landing like a pan Olympic gymnast . Good skills . Practice does that and after all the cars you ve handled you know a good one when you drive one . I like what rlaarlo does with the better tires and parts on most of their models . Is the cf Omni their first or second rlaarlo developed chassis . That sucker is nice . This one too . People like this one and the typhon looking ones but out of the two typhon ones seems like the 1/14 is favored by comments . Take it easy . Sharing my findings and thoughts this rainy evenjng .

Seems like each ramp has a speed each car likes for a smooth jump with no throttle after lift off . It’s fun finding that spot and going from there . I didn’t think a battery size up from 2 to 3s would make a difference but it did , does . I definitely want to get this after getting the carbon fiber Omni terminator and the 1/14 size froggy. Are both pretty smooth, sounding and running quick. Very good turning and handling. It just feels smooth.

That little desert buggy is the real deal, packing a huge punch out of the box and the price, well what i paid for it was awesome. I digging your vids and the track you got set up. What do you think of the mod your you need on this rc rig. I got this RLAARLO buggy and no mods at he moment. What do you recommend if any at this time? Have you broken any parts? The big thing that i dislike is the extra tire is used for the rear bumper. I think RLAARLO should have giving a optional true rear bumper or wing or kept the extra tire as is and put a wing behind the tire. Whats your thoughts big guy? Anywho we are loving these desert buggy by rlaarlo.

Hi ! Thanks for your video and tips! Which one would you choose between this RMAARLO and the MJX Hyper Go 14209 ? I feel like the MJX has better/tougher steering component. But the RLAARLO has a slip differential ? Thanks in advance for your reply

Got one of these the other day and it rocks, only thing is I broke the arm on the right knuckle almost immediately. All those extra parts that were on the Amazon store are gone now, I assume sold out. Don’t want to pay $20 to ship a $12 part from China.

Can you recommend a wheel spacer kit? I think it’s also known as a hex wheel extension kit? These axles do not have axle pins and the kits online are incompatible with this car.

Random question. Those rods that pop out that hold the arm on there. Do you know where I can get replacements for this? On my first run, mine popped out and I can’t seem to find replacements.

You know i never warranty anything. If i have a problem with a smaller companies product ill just let them know but i never want anything replaced. I think the only thing ive ever asked for help on is my first phoenix cab. It was brand new and split completely across the hood....

Yeah definitely not good to land on power, especially when it's hard landings like these were, when all the weight comes down on the tires it will immediately put all the power to the drive train most likely snapping a gear or a drive shaft or both lol, Like EXO said DON'T DO IT FOLKS, unless you have plenty of money and time to fix it then hey it's your's do whatever gets your rocks off!!! 😁
@leaftye7 ай бұрын
Too bad they don't have metal swingarms and tie rods that actually fit this car. They need to fix their catalog and then send those parts to a reviewer to prove it to everyone else.

06:50 to 06:60 People who launch their 1/10(or larger) scale RCs more than 5 feet in the air have no right to lament when they break parts. Imagine a monster truck or off-road desert racer landing from being 250ft up in the air. The survival of the driver would be as unlikely as the vehicle's survival.
@VDVC-RC Жыл бұрын
Scale doesn't quite work that way. But I get your point.
@douglaselliott8298 Жыл бұрын
@@VDVC-RC I understand that some call math racist these days. But please show me where 1/10 of 5,280 ft IS NOT 528ft(or why 528ft is not a scale MILE to a 1/10 scale car).
@VDVC-RC Жыл бұрын
@@douglaselliott8298 it's more than simply mathematically scaling the numbers you propose. There's mass, rigidity of materials, inertia, etc... Accurately scale up an RC car to full scale or accurately scale down a full scale car to ⅒ scale and things will not go as intended. If it were even possible, It's definitely not feasible... Anyways, I have RCs to mod & repair. Bash, break, repair, repeat! You know the cycle. Have fun with your RCs in whatever way brings a smile to your face.
