i threw the 27t pinion gear on it with 3s and got 65 mph! you can the the pinion gear on their wedsite. nice video with the drone.

Hi Capt. Drone (Steve) - my grandson and I were giving our D12 a run on a beautiful local beach in Scotland just this morning! After watching reviews you had done on other Rlaarlos and ordering those, I had to have this wee tiger! It's a blast. Now it's off to the shed to try and clean all the sand out of it! 🤦‍♂️... I got proficient with flying drones . It took a few months of practice but I’m comfortable with it . The wind will get ya . Of it’s windy grab a dji or don’t fly 😂

This thing looks sweet for the price . I have their carbon fiber Omni terminator and the 1/14 truggy and they’re both super sweet , super quiet mesh imho , quick and f , sweet controllers , not some crap like we see a lot . The 1/14 sale price is around $120 and this one is around $175 on Amazon . I’d say it would be smart to get rlaarlo from Amazon if there’s any issues you won’t have to mail back to China or wait 3 weeks for it to arrive . I m defintely getting this one . The cf Omni terminator and the 1/14 are liked so much I ll try another rlaarlo until I feel like something else . There’s a Kraton 6s sitting here too and I drive these more due to the nice traveling size . The Kraton scares people too and screams like a raped ape imho . It is sweet though , even in 4s is plenty imo . 6s is a different ball game , lol 😂

Yes, it certainly can on a large 1/7 scale vehicle but on a small 1/12 or 1/10th scale, it becomes extremely rare.

I have a DJI drone but haven't been into RC cars for 20 years which was an Associated RC10 buggy back then. I am probably going to order this Riarrio and enter the hobby again. Question: For this car, is there a kit to make it wider? If so, what would be the disadvantage other than probably turning radius? I would not be a basher, but just have fun in the desert.

I don’t believe Rlaarlo sells extensions to make it wider. They do list many upgrade parts online, I may have missed it if they have the extensions.

Great review. Ordered one after watching your video. The only issue I'm having is I think the wiring is backwards somewhere on the buggy. Goes about 10 mph forward and like a bat-out-of-hell in reverse. Any thoughts on what I might be able to fix verses shipping it back to amazon?

Sounds like the ESC and your REMOTE are not calibrated. If you touched the remote during startup it may have calibrated wrong. Check the instructions & look at the dib switch settings on remote. Check the dials on top as well and see that no reverse switch is engaged. If all of those are well then read the instructions on ESC calibration.

I just had to adjust throttle trim a bit to get my reverse to work at all. Fiddle with that dial a bit.
