The Fusion is a crawling beast! Have not tried the H10 yet, but I'm sure it has the potential to be a great crawler. The Fusion is definitely set up better for crawling out of the box, though.

The H10 comes as an all around rig with some Ultra 4 number plate but mimics the front engine rock buggies (Red Dot, Hulse, Sasquatch, etc.) seen here and further west.

No surprise here, crawler vs. trail truck, and the Fusion is just going to outperform the H10. When you consider the addt'l cost of mods to the H10, the Fusion is such a great value! The real takeaway here though, is how impactful tires are on the performance of your RC (and why comparison videos need to include the same tires). 👍

Noticed the passanger front insert is in backwards. At the beginning of the video the wrinkle is on the back of the tire instead of in front of it

Really two different types of trucks. Redcat is closer to a comp style rig( has much better tires on it also) and has a much better break over. H10 is kind of a high performance scale rig.

Glad he swapped tires in the middle of the run. Shows way unfair advantage. Plus 54% nose stock compared to 60% or close on redcat i can't remember for sure. I got my H10 up to 58% made a big difference. If it was 60 64 % be whole new truck again lol.

@@dennisanstadt1039what did you do to bump to 58%. I saw the flux knuckles on Facebook but I wasn’t a fan of how they looked. Mine is all stock besides a 1080 esc but I’m going to slowly be upgrading it. I want to do 2.2s to start.

I think the fusion will definitely be my next truck. I have the Everest Gen7 with the v2 axles and desert lizard shocks. Thing crawls, and sometimes out crawls, right along with my buddies trx4. I honestly feel like redcat is a force to be reckoned with in the crawler world now. My only criticism is the trucks are a little too light out of the box.

I do like seeing a much lower budget truck outperform an expensive boutique brand. Redcat been giving lots of big name companies headaches lately. I hope they keep it up. Let's get that Vigilante based basher buggy already!

I'm pretty sure it's not a U4...It's a copy of one of the dedicated trail buggy red dot makes ...or am I wrong? I thought red dot engineering make rock crawlers only

​@CM-ig2pf I was highly impressed with my fusion. I had the gen8 axe, then the 8v2. Then put my fusion up against a rc4wd moa bully 2. (Knew I'd suck against THAT!). Didn't. Box stock fusion ran off, hid & waited for the bully 2 to arrive!🤪🤯

🤔 dunno man at out local crawl place we took 3 almost stock cept for servos and fusion and tires vs a highly modded ascent and we crawled all over the the ascent stuff we barely struggled the ascent was fighting to go thru but setups also depend 👀

Running Proline Krawlers and 2 stage foams on my ascent, and it’s kinda ridiculous. I did add brass inner wheel rings to the front. It really does well.

So. Neither won though. The h10 is far composed compared to redcat. But h10 is not q crawler so it doesn't lose to one. What's the message here? I like watching the diff between the rigs but must be realistic on rtrs and their niche
