These Treals are Awesome. I have a Gravedigger and 3 rollers, for future builds and one for parts possibly. Lol. I got a black set and a natural aluminum set. I also bought all the hardware for the front axle, for 4 wheel steer and am loving it.

I put the hot racing servo saver on mine 25t with a jx ecoboost servo. No issues at all and its plenty beefy enough

I love my LMT'S yeah I got both Diggers and haven't broke or cracked my housing's, I like the Treal housing's butt $672 for 2 sets not until I absolutely have to and probably won't as I live in Oregon and don't bash in cold weather, I trail run just a little rc fun weather tip for plastic impact part's thank's for sharing Joe 😎👍

The Hot Racing servo saver is $16 on Amazon. Might be worth a shot. Looks like one day delivery for most folks. The Tamiya TXT2 one looks hefty too, but it might not be rigid enough

I’ve seen some in person and they look super nice. Just as nice as the vitavon pieces I’ve seen. Seems like from all the reviews the treal are holding up great for everyone.

EXO: Anytime you need to replace bearings always freeze the bearings for several hours or preferably overnight. Also if the piece the bearings go into is steel or aluminum place it on a cookie sheet in your oven on 250-325 for roughly 30 minutes. The bearings will drop in like butter. Little nitro motor rebuild trick I used back in the day.

Are you not using the servo saver that came with the LMT..?? Can still hear some cogging? Are you running sensored or sensorless brushless this run?

Sensored and the stock saver is 23 spline, won't work on other brand servos.

My first thought is what can we do to protect the front a little bit more with a bumper type device that wouldn't make it look bad. I feel like that would really help the front. It's like bashing a race buggy that has no front bumper it destined to destroy the front end. The first thing you would do is put a bash bumper on the front. That's my thinking anyway 😂

What about the optional 25T LMT servo saver? It’s the same as stock but 25 vs 23, I have one on order, of course didn’t ship mid Jan as told but that seams to be the norm these days.

Thanks for all the info on your vids. Did the swapping of left and right C Hub Spindle Carriers correct the castor? Could they have given you a 5° set meant for the rear? I have a set pre-ordered for mid Feb supply, hope they get it right.

Swapping them corrected the castor yes. Rear got the zero degree hubs

Cool video. I picked up my Grave Digger last Saturday. I will buy those axles and install them if I break the stock ones. Make a stunt truck video between the Losi LMT, XMAXX, and Outcast. See if the LMT can hold its own in the stunt department. I think it will.

@@ExocagedRC Tell me about it, I just upgraded my Kraken KV5TT front to alloy along with six alloy wheels and Pro-Line tyres and inserts ouch, I have stopped throwing on alloy on my two electric Trophy Trucks they were eating into my gas vehicle kitty too much a lot of fun but I forgot to remove batteries in both over Xmas so only got a pair of 6S and a pair of 4S in so instead of four of each I have a pair.

Tony at CCxRC uses a particular servo saver made specifically for monster trucks. Looks like a steering damper in place of steering link for scale appearance. For life of me I can't remember the manufacturer.. doh...! Cheers 👍

Next time put the bearings in the freezer for 30 min and soak the aluminum in boiling water. The bearings should drop in with no problem.

Freestyle rc servo saver and I use a Vanquish servo arm on my 500 and never bent it. I have a smt10 with metal axles bigger tires. I run 4s also. So my rig is comparable

Put the bearings in the freezer. Warm up the axle with a hair dryer. Install with a wooden dowel. It's what I do.

Use a heat gun like the kind for heat shrink tubing to heat up the housing then the bearing almost falls right in.

There are shims, but they are sneaky, the shims are hiding behind the outdrive and bearing on the ring gear side... you gotta take the diff apart, ask me how I know😁 I had gear mesh issues out of the box Losi has a 25t servo saver version of the stock one coming out so hopefully it’ll fit the raw 500’s
