I stripped out the plastic on my stock servo saver. Now I'm using a pro-line big hit servo saver. Working great so far

I need to check that one out. I’ve seen it mentioned by a bunch of people.

I emded up using that thick shim under my pinion, and got shims to push the crown gear away from the pinion too

Replaced my front with treal a while back - no issues. Finally broke rear and was assembling the treal for it. No shims - SUPER tight mesh. Bearing are fully seated. Suggestions? I’ve tried everything I can think of! Unusable as is.

I gotta look them up but the ones I’ve had in the past just aren’t stiff enough

Are you sure pinion is the same pitch as the gear?

Yeah. Mod1 I still have to adjust the rear.

So I've been bashing the LMT and found something that you might want to check. I think my truck was built on a Friday. On the front upper link frame side, it is supposed to kept in place with a flanged nut. On mine the link with the servo wires had just a regular nut. So when I landed it popped off and link hit the frame and sheared the servo wire. Soooo check you truck and make sure your nuts are flanged!!!!🤪🤪🤪

Curious why on the limit strap length. Were you come up with that number for the length. I think ones I have on mine are 105mm, they seem to work. I need to pick up some for the rear now. If I need to get longer ones I will. I had them sitting around so I threw them on.
@daver18qc4 жыл бұрын
I just dont see why he doesn't just use the upper hole in the frame which would probably put those straps at the right distance.
@RCPropaganda4 жыл бұрын
@@daver18qc i have mine on separate holes. Thought thats what they were there for. Just use a screw and a nut.
@ExocagedRC4 жыл бұрын
I have those off now. Went with 105mm. The reason they aren’t in the upper hole was because the suspension would be mostly compressed. If the rain stops I’ll be able to get that video done.

Why cant you adjust the 25 spline servo saver? You should be able to crank it down!
@ExocagedRC4 жыл бұрын
It’s a stock 23 spline. It’s adjustable but the adjuster nut is excessively tight for some reason.
@rc-daily4 жыл бұрын
@@ExocagedRC I thought you had one from hot racing you tried but it was just to loose? The hot racing servo saver I use is adjustable and you can lock it up 100% if you wanted to.

@@the82square if your end points are set correctly and you're careful when the fronts are bound up you should be okay. In terms of recommendations, the power HD 20kg waterproof servo is good for the money.

Could always use a shock as a servo saver. Can be adjusted by a heavier spring and heavier shock oil or diff grease depending how stiff you want it to be
