I just got one of these typhons today its amazing killed the stock tires already. . . has swapped castle motor and upgraded servo chassis and all drive shafts i love it. .

Got keep those stock tires on dirt …they are great but very soft. I run hoons on the road and after they are warm they are so much fun.

@@2blades_rc650 I bought the harder rubber and they aren’t as much as the fatter ones for rear end of felony which would be sweet but the point is to have long lasting broad tires that are still good tiny amount of tread is gone. As long as they heat up they’ll do good if not it’s like they are on ice

You almost did a double rolling back flip. Amazing. It would be nice to see it on your new track. Obviously the Xmaxx or Raminator are more impressive but many of us cant afford such nice cars and are kind of stuck running cars like Typhons. I'm just starting out and already have 10 cars. Considering the cost to repair and keep them all running I wish I would have just bought 2 typhons and some decent batteries. The cost of a 6s Typhon is about the same cost as my gas and water bill for one month.

Yes bigger tires do mean more speed but constant running with the big ones would easily grind out that stock spur and pinion

You should add a few holes to the front of the body to allow more air flow into the electronics. That's the issue with the tight Typhon body.

Dude put lock tite on all those chassis bolts I always get arrmas with no lock tite at all. My outcast 8s came with no locktite and the chassis screws were all only hand tight . I love trying all different tires on Riggs they ain't made for. You should try some rc4wd mud slinger 2.8 on this typhon!!

I got a basher 6s buggy too and i like to slap 2.8 badlands on it from time to time. With the old wheels with non removable hubs they clear just about perfect and actually dont stick out that much more than standard buggy wheels. Give them a go if you have a chance just wrap fronts with some fishing line cos boy they become pizza cutters at half throttle for me

Those underside bolts normally come with a ton of loctite and you cannot get them out without heat or a drill. Weird yours came out, but be sure to loctite when replacing!

yeah I did add some medium to them. Glad I stopped when I did, coulda messed some stuff up.

@@ExocagedRC Nicee, I swapped mine over to a limitless spool so its locked in the center for speed runs and because the excessive loctite from arrma in the process stripped one of those to the point of needing to use a dremel to make the allen in to a flat head lol
