I did a body bend like you speak of using a heat gun and a PCV pipe as a form to bend/wrap the body side around.

I always love watching how you mod things and make things work, thats what being a hobbyist is all about. But this glueing bead locks is a little on the dark side, lol. I can’t wait to see more of this build! 🤙🏽

Great vid. The wheels r the sweetest right behind the front end setup. I cant get my steering to work worth crap. Turns tight to the right and football field left turn.

Ideas for the body roll: -Cool, wet towel to protect the rest of the body -Heat gun on the bottom edge and fold it over something straight Nice crawling and I am thinking on putting the 1:24 Dodge on my SCX24. Love that one!

u can get some rubber "O" Rings that r the size of those Beed locks from ur local Auto parts store and pinch them in between and maybe stop the slip. If they would get tight enough to take some really rough sandpaper to where the metal bits into the rubber would be cool. Or some kind of washer just to close the gap in there would also be cool. But cool build and video, 👍

i watched a older video this morning showing the bully 2.2 crawler with the bully 2.2 competition tires going up all most vertical rocks . so after seeing that i ordered 1/10 Velocity 2.2" 12mm Buggy Wheels from proline $10 a pair . then i ordered the 1/10 Hole Shot 3.0 M4 4WD Front 2.2" Off-Road Buggy Tires $23 a pair from proline . reason is i pulled my 4 inch wide hole shot 3.8 off my truggy and tried them on my integy steel cage crawler and omg they climbed a piece of 6 feet long wet plywood at 60 degrees to the top !!!

Quick tip, Calculate overdrive 360° = 100% Put dot on tape, put tape on tires. Put rig on stand and run it slowly till one tire does one turn Stop Where is the other tire? The difference in degrees translates to difference in percentage. 90° = 25% 180° = 50%. 270° = 75% So if on tire turns 360, And the other turns 270, then you have a difference of 25%. That is the amount of your overdrive. Sorry that was long winded, but I didn't want to just drop the equation and go. And I don't care what you say, I'm a biker. I've ridden a thousand miles for a hamburger. Don't knock your place as not worth driving to, A big Glide towing a little trailer with RC stuff in it? Sounds like a fun couple weeks. Love your channel, man keep it real. Have fun (duh), And be well.

The Tusk tires require an insert about 3mm more diameter than the standard printed ones. I print my own and have a size specific to the Tusk tires, as well as the Rupture tires. If I knew how to get ahold of you, I’d send you a set 😉

I found the proline dual stage foams work best for jconcepts tires. The original proline dual stage foams not the new ones. That and 50w oil with losi pink soft springs =win win. You will drive in droop set up all the time and give you better control over sprung weight

Maybe leave that back left tire to spin for cheap cheat dig. I like to unlock my trx4 in the rear run a tall tire and jam it into the body under articulation. The I can have a cheat dig when needed. Nice build

A DSM strap on the axle would lower the front, while keeping the flex stiffer for stability.
