Wow super nice. I see a ton of builders that just tell you about the components but a break down of all parts as well as the best way to configure them to work for you… only here! 💯

Thanks that answered my question last night about the axles. Thinking about Capra axles for my 10.3 Gladiator

I use 45w oil in my dravs. Helps keep the shocks from unloading on climbs. Also using soft spring all around. With medium springs my tgh would just unload and be fully extended. Not with 45w and soft springs.

Builds coming a long nicely. Can't wait to see it in action. Think you're gonna love the chassis in action, I know I'm more than impressed with my Dirty South build

Joe you should take a look at the link geometry, the front axle rolls pretty bad an the rear ist changing wheelbase, play around with all that holes on the frame. also some high clearance links in the back would Help a ton. with the straight ones, you give away a lot of performance.

That build is very similar to my build. I used a 3gear transmission in mine. Getting the gearing right has been a small nightmare for me. So hopefully watching tour build here it will give me some insight.

Love the build. I'm in the middle of my portal, class 3, ultra light build. Looking for a trans as we speak. Hope to see this in action, that frame section thats hitting your axle could be cut right close to the shock mount plates and then bolted onto the shock mounts to lift those rails up. gonna be fun to see if I can finish mine before you. Lol Hope you're having a ton of fun, please, be well and thanks for all the time.

If you didn't order the internal spacer with the shocks stick a 2-3mm spacer inside the shocks n it holds the piston under the oil n pulls the ride height down a few mm

Joe (& anyone watching): I had an scx 6x6 a couple of years ago. Loved it, but was offered enough to buy n build 2 more. So i sold it (BEFORE looking to see if they were available.), & then found out a week later, they r no more 😭. Does ANYONE make the 6x6 chassis rails, & the center thru axle? (I can find everything else!) Thanks in advance! 👍
