Bystials and Havnis milling Shufflers will kill the deck all on its own. Heck, one good Kelbek mill taking out a single piece of Exodia and it getting banished by a Bystial ends the game.

Tbh in the upper bracket, it's basically gotta be Shock Master to stop this deck. I can't see anyone else beating this. Even in the lower bracket Exodia would wipe half the decks.

This is so hilarious. This version of Exodia is ridiculous. I think many would agree that Tear is the top contender in this tournament, and it just so happens that they will be milling all the Exodia pieces. But there is that chance that they mill the Sangan's and Witch's first, which would just give exodia free searches lol. I hope we see those two decks play it out.

Exodia is too consistent of an FTK/OTK, basically needs to face multiple omni-negations to lose. So, it probably can't beat a few of the 2023 2024 decks that put up 5 negates turn 1, but it'll clear top bracket easy.

Im sorry but wtf DMD had game 1 easy. Convocation search Nebthet tribute Gebeb to special Nebthet then tribute the other Gebeb in hand to destroy the sagan leads to 2 lv8 vanilla on field which is full combo to otk. Aside from that the other games were pretty decisive. However, why would you go 1st as an otk deck. You go 2nd because you can not attack going first turn, and if they ftk you they were going to do so whether they went first or second because youre deck lacks the disruptions to even stop them

I’m fairly certain that there’s enough draw power to play 1 copy of each Exodia piece and 35 draw/pseudo-draw cards that don’t require bricks or garnets. Throw in the Mulcharmies and Max “C” for going second and there’s your deck. Scientist FTK would be built similarly but with more room for non-engine to counter hand traps.

@@orga7777 Yes, everyone and their mother knows that Droll kills any decks like that, but the opponent isn't drawing Droll every game ESPECIALLY if they're only siding it, if playing at all.

@@toadfan64 It isn't just Droll. Almost every hand trap stops them in their tracks. Imperm on Cannon Soldier in this matchup ends the game. A well timed Ash ends the game. one nasty DD Crow ends the game. There is a reason the unlimited banlists in the OCG has Tear winning all the time and not Exodia.

@@orga7777 Cannon Soldier does tribute for cost, so at least Sangan and Witch still get their effects in that instance. A well timed DD Crow isn't bad, but since it's not negating effects, the Witch and Sangan still get theirs. Plus, it's not super common, even in the no banlist tourney's. Ash is the biggest issue though. An Ash on a Pot or Graceful can be a turn ender if they don't have anything else in hand.

It's too easy to set up interactions and just pop stuff on summon before they can be activated, makes it so much harder to play into boards because of it.

it’s absolutely biggest problem is if cannon soldier tributes something the shufflers can send them to deck before their effects activate. that will be the killer. i will absolutely root for exodia, but if tear has even decent luck that will be it unfortunately. exodia needs to side in everything not named soldier of stone and mirror force, unfortunately it may not have the room, 6 obvious ones, maybe thundra

Dark Matter Dragon SUCKS in the CBC. It's basically never done anything. Just too glass cannon-y with absolutely no defense or negation. Exodia definitely looks like a top group competitor, but it is very matchup and draw dependent. Not having to face Ash blossom or Droll in the group really helps.
