I had the pleasure of growing up with my great- great aunt, she helped raise my grandfather and my father, she is the only woman my father knew as a mother. I learned a lot from her. after her passing I went on to become a nurse, as a charge nurse in a nursing home I have met so many and learned so much from the elders, I love them so much. I had to comment here because once again I have learned something: The definition of Octogenarian, and I went to look it up an found a few more, I love learning and let me tell you our elders are like walking living libraries, every time one leaves us, I feel like and entire library is burning down and no one explored all its books. @@Slo-ryde Somehow, strangely, I don't really care directly what happens to Trump and the T-family; I'm not one for retribution. That he was able to have happened and the structures of fascism must be stopped in order for more democracy to develop. Those people and ideas empowering 45, the MAGA blockage and its pension for lies, misinformation and hate-rhetoric as well as xenophobic attitudes, militaristically chauvinistic and nationalistic beliefs and "selfish" consumerism which extend well into all areas of USAmerican life (not only Republican) must be stopped while developing new ways to get on a right path to friendly co-existence of us as USAmericans and us with everyone else in the world. Personally, I'd rather work toward creating ways to have a good cup of coffee in the morning without my having to enslave people around the world and disrupt, threaten, impoverish and even wage war against others while destroying forests, the arid-ability of land of entire nations, causing drought and polluting the air and water any further. Somehow, focusing on imprisoning a slippery eel seems puny in comparison to what we must and could do with our limited resources and efforts. Sasha's (an acquaintance at the city's train-station) uncle died last week and he needed to travel to the funeral and be consoled. This seems so much more relevant than 45. Love.

When I got of the Marines I worked at a maximum security prison for a few years and it was one of if not the most depressing and dangerous places I have been. It should be noted that I was there as a correctional officer and got to go home every day. I could not imagine how it felt to be a person that spent over a decade of their life in prison after being wrongfully accused and convicted. If anyone has earned the right to be angry it would be this man and it’s a testament to his decency and faith that he is not. Compare that to Trump who would double down on a lie to save face and avoid admitting his mistakes.
