Synopsis: Owing to his experience with exorcisms, Father Lamont (Richard Burton) is chosen by his superiors to investigate the death of Father Merrin (Max von Sydow), who died during the exorcism of young Regan MacNeil (Linda Blair). Lamont finds Regan under the psychiatric care of Dr. Tuskin (Louise Fletcher). By hypnotizing the girl, he is able to learn that Merrin previously exorcised the same demon from a boy in Africa. Hoping for answers, Lamont travels to Africa in search of the youth.

The trailer people for this one deserved a raise. They made this tremendously boring movie look actually worth watching. Sucks for people that got suckered into the theatre for this, tho.

Really?😂 I just watched it and thought it was so slow and boring. Seems like an investigation film with no real horror till the last 15 min. The true horror was the Gemini monologues we had to sit through

​​@@jonathanhookano5668I Agree, the only parts I liked In Exorcist III were the parts where all of them yelled. I would rather watch The Exorcist II because it's at least more of an attention grabber, unlike Exorcist III Wich is a movie about murders Wich is what alot of horror movies are about.

Porque es una mala película el Exorcista II? Básicamente se salieron fuera del formato de la primera película y convirtieron un excelente ejercicio de terror en un espectáculo excéntrico que lejos de dar miedo causaba aburrimiento. Tambien contribuyo la decepción del publico al enterarse que el personaje maligno de la primera película que fue el Diablo, ahora paso a ser un demonio africano de segunda cuyo nombre era Bazuzu, La trama esta cargada de escenas confusas y sin sentido como la langosta voladora que no se que diablos tenia que ver con la trama. Una mala película en general.
