I mean, it does, but unless you were an eagle-eyed theater goer in 1977 that saw the trailer multiple times, I don’t think there’s any way this trailer spoiled anything for you back then. I mean sure, now, in this day and age with the Internet, we can look up movie trailers and watch them over and over again, and pause them, but back then, you only saw these trailers in the theaters. And given how fast this trailer is cut, there’s no way you’re going to remember any specific thing from it. Great trailer for a bonkers movie.

Not a great movie but I do like its visuals and cinematography, also the score by the late and great Ennio Morricone is simply fantastic and a major highlight in my opinion. I especially love the beautiful and heartbreaking “Regan’s Theme”, it never fails to make me shed a tear, one of my personal favorite scores from him right next to his incredible work on The Thing.

@Alwa Ritsila I love psychedelic films, that's one of the reasons I kind of liked Exorcist II, despite not being very well executed. I don't think is a good movie, but there were certainly good things in it, and I don't consider it to be one of the worst sequels ever made. I've seen worse, at least Exorcist II tried to bring something new and different, instead of just copying the original again.

John boorman the director could EASILY have just done a straightforward scary sequal to the exorcist but i appreciate how he didnt do that and made the exorcist 2 a bit more of a adventure film. Fun fact: The rooftop is atop 666 Fifth Avenue (where Warner Bros. offices were then located). It's one of my favorite shots in the movie, with no stunt person and no special effects, you can see the Fifth Avenue down below. And btw there wasn't a single mention of Father Karras in the movie, as if he didn't do anything LOL.

Oh wow, I just watched this movie, I have no idea why it had such a low 3.8 IMDB rating, I give it a solid 8/10. This movie felt out of this world for real, the scenes from that weird Africa with weird sunshine and fog, a masterpiece, the best movies about brain interface and sharing thoughts, people must expect something like the first one but for me, this one is far superior, there was no horror for sure but the cinematography and the futuristic theme of it were amazing.
