One of the best SubD tutorial in youtube! This approach is much more informative than referenceless modeling. I had a lot of rough sketches, but I didn't know how to model my ideas with Subd. Great work! Keep producing tutorial like this ✌

Thank you for great tutorials. I didn't know this type of works can also be done in sub-d. Although it's not very important but I think image plane is not accurate. I compared it with real images.

I intended to make the tutorial as short as possible, and the things you mentioned are simple enough for anyone who can follow along until that point.

Although this is an impressive tutorial it does not reflect the way this building was conceived at ZHA. For this reason, your tutorial does not help a designer understand the design process and reapply it to a personal project. There are several approaches one can take either starting from a simple primitive and scaling faces/moving edges to define the layout of the exoskeleton or starting from the curves lofting the whole skin. In both cases, details are added later by further dividing the faces and using a sequence of inset/extrude to achieve thickness. Your method is way slower and does not allow you to explore multiple options in a concept design scenrio.

@@Frankiecinnamon13 This person is Fulvio Wirz perviously a designer in Zaha Hadid office. His approach is literally written down in his comment. Usually he starts with a primitive that is a cube of plane and adding detail of complexity. Usually he uses autodesk Maya as his main tool.
