I've been lucky to have them pass through my yard on a bushy bank that bounds a mountain ..and they're just one if many different encounters , including monkeys snakes crabs tarantulas etc, you name it ..we're very lucky !

Anyway I'm assuming shes female so one evening the thing was passing through my yard while Im sitting down stairs I flashed my phone light on her she paused I also paused to my amazement after switching my phone light off she went on her merry way. I am thinking that Trinidad became an island a bit more than 2000 years ago, given that the sea has only risen a bit over 1m in that time. 20,000 would be more like it, even then the sea must be very shallow between T and the mainland.
