Wow that's Great Boots collection you have ! I'm 67 and just discover this western boots unique design and stile, so could't stop and got 5 (!) pairs already ( Ariat - two crocodile/alligator, Tecovas - two Python/leather and Tony Lama black Lizard). All made in Mexico...Ariat Bench Made series. Thank you.

I have watched your boot videos because just scored a bunch of exotics and they appear to be vintage and all in great shape. My question would be how could I truly tell they were vintage? I bought it from an older man's estate. They are I Pirachu, Alligator Belly, Alligator Tail, Lizard and Lucchesse, Larry Mahan, Justin, Tony Lama and Rios del Mercedes. Trying to figure out pricing and where to sell. Any advice? I am in Texas

Sorry for the late reply. Really, the style will generally indicate if they are vintage. In terms of selling, I suggest eBay. There are many buyers on there like me and if you list them at a fair starting price and give the auction enough time with good pictures, you will get a fair price. It is risky, but most boots starting at $100 will gather interest and bids well above that price if they are exotics.

How do you find all these different manufactures of cowboy boots on eBay? Especially the ones that are practically unheard of.

You have to narrow your search and save searches so that as items appear for sale, you can get notified. Also, search using phrases like "custom boots", "Alligator" and the names of small manufacturers that you can find in a Google search of Texas bootmakers.

Did you mention Hanks and Exotics? I have a pair of caiman and it only has the USA flag but did not know the bootmaker.
