Those large chillis are on level of bell peppers in spiciness which is not very spicy. Just a tinge or titillation of spiciness. Absolutely not extreme.

You should definitely visit Jodhpur next time. Its the food capital of Rajasthan, be it sweets or savoury food. And not to forget the fort and architecture, it has so much to offer. PS: Those Mirchibadas are not that spicy.

Fact : Chilli was introduced in India before couple of centuries. Ancients used Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Cloves for spiciness. They're healthier options too. There are few temples where Food is cooked without Chilli, potatoes, Tomatoes, Okras, using ancient method. But amazing is how Chilli, potatoes, and tomatoes are adopted in India like no other country. And they control whole Farming Market!

Jodhpuri food is bomb!! It is indeed an explosion of flavours - both savory and sweet! @korbin you could easily eat the Mirchi badas actually, okay well not easily, but they are surprisingly deceptive. Those long big chillies are not that hot, and are actually very mild in flavour with some hint of sweetness like bell peppers, so they make the ideal base for these fritters. Trust me, this is one food item you will not get anywhere else in India - you'll find variants but not the exact same thing. Even in Delhi I can't find authentic Jodhpuri mirchi bada anywhere. This place did not serve chutney but there is a special chutney often served with Mirch bada -its a mix of sweetened yoghurt with tangy tamarind chutney and it is AMAZING, goes really with Mirchi bada. The gulabjamun ki subzi tastes almost like malai kofta, which is quite popular with westerners. Another specialty of Jodhpur is pyaaz ki kachori.

Yes agreed! I guess we can find mirch bada in rajasthan in general because when we were travelling to kumbhalgarh, we stopped by a dhaba and ate this mirch bada ( it was called michauda there) and I couldn't find anything like that anywhere else in India .

Sir give reaction on Kantara movie it is south Indian movie which bested kGF2 also..... One of the best movie in South Indian movie.... It released in Kannada language only but now after watching movies all audience requested them to make Pan India level means dub in all languages from audience request...its trailer is released.....in India it is 1st time one movie got 10 out of 10resting on bookmyshow .....
