I wish we had gotten a raid exotic quest, kinda like xenophage. Divinity was a cool idea but I would want to see something really cool.

Everything will be stale when you play long enough. Your job gets stale, right? Well, Destiny is a job. Any game will get stale after 10 years. Any job will get stale after 10 years. Repeating things 100 times does this. This is why random things and repetition need a limit. Unfortunately a game model like this is too difficult to constantly make things different. Becuase when you change stuff, it needs extensive testing. The developers don't have time for this kind of design. Arguably, the "Rule of Three" concept and technique is the problem. We do everything in threes. A bit too much. So it's predictable. Yes, three is a balanced thing, because 4+ is bad, 2 is bad.

Sure. The game does get "stale" after playing it for so long. But the devs should be allowed the time to innovate. Crunch, and pressure from execs makes it so hard as you mentioned. If that doesn't change D2 will continue to suffer. And yes, Destiny can feel like a job. But that's also part of the problem. Doing your chores/challenges shouldn't feel so obligatory. It should be fun. It just isn't anymore because there's nothing new/exciting to play ATM. The blog about Frontiers provided some hope for the future (no pun intended). We'll see how that pans out.

Oh, look, another Datto wannabe elitist who feels his opinion SHOULD BE the end all be all...just like Datto and MAJORITY of the D2 content creators.
