So from being at a car show I know that you can feel the crackles from an exhaust echo in your chest. I wonder what the pop from a flame feels like? Anyone?

It's sort of the same. You can feel the pressure from the shock wave and the heat from the flame. But you need to close your ears or wear ear protection (which is what we usually wear at these kind of car meets), because you can really damage your ears with those pops.
