@@segicus yeah I wish the rest of the world could experience some of the muscle cars we have Finland or Sweden is about as close as you'll come even though muscle cars were perfected by the Aussies (holden torana a9x and the Ford falcon XB are two of my favorites) but their not as powerful as everyone thinks American cars are actually pretty turned down from 73 till the mid 2000s due to smog regulations and all those cool euro tuner cars we never got due to emission laws

Watch this video countless of times appreciating they got all the special editions of each generations so amazing! And when they driven the R33 halfway of the track with the snow coming in, it's like "the oncoming of a legendary godzilla about to be introduced" made it so epic! I mean what more could we get right? Man, that moment we could appreciate the aero effect from the front bumper streaming to the rear while driving. Also the introduction song kicked in with the phonk music, I'm in tears of joy watching it and enjoy it's true beauty. Outside of R35, I think R33 is the most supercar-looking GTR. R32 and R34 look more like rally cars. But that R33, especially from behind - almost a Ferrari or a Corvette!

When you watch the emotions of Nolan driving the R34, it brought back the memories of every 15 year old who's watched FF1 and dreamed that they would get a car like this one day. I almost shed a tear myself because this was what dreams were made of. This segment is the closest thing to the feelings that Top Gear with the Trio gave me and I PRAY that you continue to make great content like this. Thanks Donut!

A was lucky enough to grow up watching the ATCC (Australian Touring Car Championship) back in the 70's, 80's and 90's and my favourite car was R32 which was so dominant it killed Group A in Australia. The R32 will always be my favourite, but I think the 2nd Generation is the most beautiful. Personally, I wouldn't say no to one of each. 😄 Great video.

I had the pleasure to drive the R35 back in 2012 as a birthday gift through supercar rental. It was an unreal experience and obviously am bias towards that one (the only GT-R I've touched, let alone driven). But the emotion in this video is why I'm an enthusiast and why I love Donut!

I need to point out that the Kenmeri you guys drove was not a GTR as all of GTR has a double overhead cam (DOHC)6cyl. engine. The first gen. GTR (Hakosuka 4door), the 2nd gen GTR (Hakosuka 2door) and the 3rd gen GTR (Kenmeri) all had famous S20 type engine. The one you drove had a highly tuned up L type single overhead cam engine which was a standard engine in normal Skyline GT and a lot of other Nissan vehicles at that time including Z car. Also L was known as very durable engine and,therefore, often heavily modified to enhance its performance from 130hp to much over 200hp.

I agree on your point but with an exception: the 4-door Hako GT-R sedan & 2-door Hako GT-R coupe are both 1st gen GT-R. The Kenmeri GT-R (a.k.a. “Phantom GT-R”) is actually a 2nd gen GT-R. But anyway.

Ive owned a couple, r30 turbo and r31 3.0, only cars ive had that have no trouble sliding all 4 at over 100kph and still feel stable and controllable, even on big long bends you could just stay on it till traction faded and theyd just casually slide around and find a line again with a little bit of a jiggle.

Between the Skyline C110 (Kenmeri) and the R30, The nissan produced the C210 (1977-1981). it used the same design as the kenmeri, but was slightly larger. the C210 is the forgotten skyline (basically nobody knows it exists).

As a former R31 owner I must say that the R31 really gets under your skin, as you start to push the car towards its limits it reveals an addictive character: almost goading you to go faster, while always hinting that at any moment it could send you spearing off backwards. The others may be faster or more historically important, but the R31 will remain my personal favourite.

I've owned four different R31s over the last 18 years. Loved every one of them. I like that they are essentially a blank slate for modding, they can look so cool with some really simple mods. Yeah, not as fast as an R32, but still fun.

Awesome video idea, loved it... But when he said the Hakosuka was too special but he'd rip the Kenmeri, I was dying inside lol. I think he mentioned that particular car in the video is a clone, but an original VIN Kenmeri GT-R is actually nearly 10 times rarer than an original Hakosuka GT-R. Not sure on the numbers for surviving examples, but they produced only 197 Kenmeri GT-Rs before it was axed due to the gas crisis.

Yeah ... but they didn't really drive it hard at all, 😒 A bit of a disappointment to be honest, any car can cruise but its only alive when driving Hard on the track - which didn't happen with the R34, 😑😪 (I bet the owner wouldn't allow it, 🥸👎)
