Expanding Energy with FranklinWH aPbox

So if you have a 7.5kw of solar under NEM 1.0 or 2.0 and you want to add another 7.5 in panels you would connect that to the aPbox. Can any of that solar connected to the aPbox reach the grid? Let's say it's a cloudy day, and you have an excess 3kw you are sending to the grid.... can the aPbox send another 3.5kw to the grid to max out the 7.5kw of your allotted power your allowed to send to the grid? Or is the aPbox islanded to your house and batteries only?
