Expanding Hub Bore of Wheels / Mercedes Gets Audi Wheels

On this episode we will show you two different methods in expanding or enlarging the center bore of your wheels. We will show you how to make the center hold of the rims bigger so you can clear a larger hub. This technique is common for OEM wheel swaps and for older euro cars that may share a lug pattern with something but not share the same hub bore.

SUPER sketch. i would not do that on wheels i was going to drive on the highway. but an offroad rig or something like this, it will be fine. these are rollers to appease the governments requests so i wasnt too concerned with getting it perfect otherwise i would have just taken it to a machine shop.

@@definitelynotmechanics btw if you didn't find out till now, the center bore of older Audis is 57.1 mm and Mercedes is 66.6 mm, starting with the B8 audi a4 they also switched to 66.6 mm. I also own a W123 and here is a tip for you, there's a nice looking alloy wheel from the Audi B9 in 16 inches that look pretty good on the w123 but are awful on the audi so people want to get rid of it, the part number is 8W0601025, they can be found cheap.
