Very nice! I’m a huge train fan, but I’m not so much interested in realism/accuracy as I am about it just looking good and being fun. Well done and inspiring.

I don't mind it, I think it has enough on the sides already and I didn't have to use any stickers for them!

The 3x4 wedge plates without notches are common in black, red, white, blue. So you could at least cut down on the number of 2x3 wedges with stud holes visible. They also technically exist in LBG but rare. You'd just need a 2x3 wedge behind them to get it butted up against regular plates/bricks.

I've played around with this idea in Studio. The problem for me is I use dark azure for the blue stripe so it wouldn't match any of my current rolling stock

if you want to drive that loco alone i have an idea make like 4 of the amtrack autotrain (from around the 90's) cars and hide the power in one of them but aside form that thats a realy good looking loco

TIL the locomotives that I see rolling past my local farmers market are EMD GP-40s after I realized they look exactly like the Maersk locomotive. Never made that connection before despite wanting to build a model of one for a while now. Guess I'll have to make a modified Maersk locomotive of my own in the Union Pacific livery now! EDIT: Or not... there are so many similar-looking locomotives... well it's a start at least lol. EDIT EDIT: I think what I'm seeing are actually SD70 locomotives. Well you've inspired me to do actual research for a locomotive project anyway.

It's a rabbit hole for sure. I have had many commenters tell me which locomotives are which but they often don't agree with each other😅. I do like to learn about real locomotives when I can though

For the locos where do you buy your bricks Are they knockoffs or used I have no idea how to buy exact pieces
@BatteryPoweredBricksАй бұрын
I have some videos that go into more detail. I buy all of the pieces on Bricklink and I use Bricklink Studio to build things digitally and then create a parts list. Bricklink is made up of individual sellers from all over the world selling individual pieces

If you have enough time and money you Can make the train that was in the Big bayou disaster! AmtrakGuy365 has a great video on the Big bayou disaster. The reason i specificly Said this is because youre train has one GP40 and one Genesis, the Big bayou train has two GP40,s and one Genesis. Yes that is it just saving pieces.

11:25 you Can have a motorised box/mail/passenger car
