Looks fantastic! I've been following all your videos. I've purchased the plans from Laurent and I am beginning the adventure of building this table for myself. I am trying to understand the vertical movement of the "pieces of the pie" that comprise your table, as opposed to the "pickets" and "star" depicted. Am I correct in assuming that at the point of full expansion of the pieces that the "pieces of the pie" lower in altitude to meet the raised pickets and star? Is that the idea here? Clearly all 3 types of pieces (star, pickets, and pie pieces) cannot be at the same level unless the table is in expanded state, where there is area to accommodate them all in the same vertical plane? Thank you.
