Get a gallon of muriatic acid from a pool supply store. This will strip the zinc coating off the steel can and give you virgin metal. The acid is also useful for stripping the coating off bolts when welding them on for mounts, etc.

Also use lindseed out to coat your bare metal exhaust. Will leave a lacquer finish

look into a stinger in the belly of the pipe. It silences a ton better then a conventional stinger

I know this over a month ago. If yo want nice clean welds in side you pipes make a bung with 1/4" hole for the tail and make a bung you can pass argon through this will depleat any oxygen and stop any nasties inside your pipe no burning nice an clean
