Hi Chuck & Paige. Actually, here in Asia, we are more used to buying from the junk shop old newspapers per kilo, which is very cheap and practical, to lay out prior to painting walls or ceilings.

Here's another one of those unsolicited opinions Chuck. 🙂 Whenever I'm shopping for a fridge (I wrote fridge on purpose), I always look for a freezer on the bottom model. I spend more time getting stuff in and out of the cold section rather than the frozen section. I'm also old, and I don't like to be bending over a lot. With the cold section on top, I'm not bending over as much getting stuff in and out of the section of the fridge I use the most. On the rare instances when I need to get in the freezer section, I still have to bend over or kneel down, but it's not as often. Mostly I find that design in a Panasonic, but that Haier looks good too. BTW, do you know about the IKEA online 3D kitchen design tool? I used it to rough out what I wanted to do with my kitchen. I didn't buy any IKEA stuff for my kitchen, but the design tool helped a lot with getting my ideas out of my head and onto paper.

Not much going on in Si Racha for farangs. My immigration office is there. It's mainly Thai and Japanese. Nice city though and a decent mall. If your mum fly's into DMK it's a good 2.5 hrs. BKK airport 1.5hrs.

Hi Chuck. U can get recycle old newspaper and lay them on the floor. I would recommend to buy the side by side fridge. Buy 5 star electricity consumption fridge. It's easier. U might wanna consider Mafia's height when buying or doing your interior design and renovation. 😊

For what it's worth mate get an uoside down fridge .. one with freezer on bottom then she can't hit her head altho bending may be a problem for her. Side by side is the answer it seems. Try an auto supplier for that taped masking paper they use for painting in States maybe you can get there. Nice to see the refreshing rains. Bushyboy Oz.

Believe it or not Chuck, I bought the same refrigerator by Whirlpool at the Home Depot and paid $1,500 for it. Mine came with an ice maker in one of the freezer compartments, and the front is stainless steel instead of white. I love the clean no handles look. My refrigerator is also cabinets deep, so it is flush with all the surrounding cabinets and counter depth.

Tabletop Refrigerators. They are found in Commercial Kitchen store (restaurants). We have 2 in our home kitchen. We have a 3 door tabletop for normal foods and a 2 door tabletop that acts as the freezer. Then we have another normal fridge in the laundry room.
