Hey Chuck & Kara! Good design and outcome for your kitchen renovation. You're right Chuck, think I mentioned it in a previous video. Overthinking always injects unwanted drama into the scenario. They're a very good and conscientious contractor and crew from what I can see. Experiencing personal physical setbacks with a minimum of time before my inaugural visit to Thailand. Going from full stride mode to baby steps, though will persevere! Enjoyable video, truly hate falling behind in my viewing time. Everyone be happy, safe and healthy

555 Hotel deposits is a pet peeve of mine. In China where I live, the deposit is about 1.5X the total rate. Even at international chains. I’m guessing that many people have skipped out on their bill. My credit card gets charged and then they reverse the charge when I check out or they deduct the bill from the deposit. Many people in China don’t use credit cards, they use an app or debit cards, so it’s even more problematic for them. I’ve gotten use to it.

You are right Chuck about communication with contractors, you would think they would finish tiling the walls so you could grout the tiles all at once so you don't waste a day but maybe they started another job and have more irons in the fire. A friend of mine would say it's best to not have any expectations that way you don't have any disappointments 555. It all gets done and looks fine in the end. I can guarantee they don't worry about it so the only one annoyed is the farang. Amazing Thailand! Mai Pen Rai 555.

Bamboo shoots, Chuck. We do that here too. Amazing how fast those shoots can grow. When they get too big they get too tough so you have to catch them before that happens.

You could use some golf lessons as in shot 9, and head to the 19th hole and just RELAXXXXX. it's golf, there are those that want to impress and those (you and me chuck) that want to whack a few balls and drink cold beer (the real golfing experience). Chuck - I would guess they misjudged the tile cuts and some other details, which pushed the time back. It's the same in Japan with local workmen. If you hire a more costly big corporate company, you will get your 10 days at a much higher rate.

Have a great lesson. I wish I had taken them. I got down to a 12 handicap which was in the lower 80's. But with age and not playing once a week it went to In the 90's. You got to play to get better and lessons can help. Have fun!
