I finally invested in one a few years ago. Only regret is I didn’t get one till then. Totally worth the price tag. Absolutely fantastic mat. Have used it for months on end on freezing cold ground and never ever felt cold through the ground. As comfy as a memory foam mattress. Can’t recommend it highly enough. See it as a long term investment. Top quality, you will not be disappointed with one of these.

I totally recommend those boots! OMG! I bought them last year they are the Lost 40 by Vasque. They have a wool liner insert for extra warmth. Pain in the rear to get on but so comfy and warm. Good review. It's expensive here in the UK but I absolutely love mine, it's so comfortable. It does have that memory-foam feel, never bottoms out, and you can feel it warming up around the contact areas.

OMG yes! That is my primary car camping pillow! It is the best camp pillow I have tried yet! Unlike a lot of others, the material in it doesn't react with the cold.
@maartenvt Жыл бұрын
I have one too. It's great. But you better watch out when putting that mat in the woods on those pine needles! Or watch out in meadows with thistles, or freshly mown, with sturdy grass or blackberry thorns that's still on the ground. when the mat is leaking, you no longer lie comfortably, and you lie on a hard floor, because the foam has little resistance. You will then be cold and no longer have comfort! So always check the surface carefully before you set up your tent, or when you put down your mat!
@LoneCrowAdventures Жыл бұрын
Yep it does have some repair patches if needed as well!
@maartenvt Жыл бұрын
@@LoneCrowAdventures that's something you will need after waking up at night on a hard floor. So you don't want to put your mat on a bed of pine needles to prevent that.

@@Blackwolfskye You're welcome. I like this mat so much that I purchased one in size medium that should fit perfectly in the back of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. We will be sleeping in the Jeep for a few nights on an upcoming trip outwest to the Rockies. The XL versions were too wide to fit in the jeep and not wide enough for both of us to sleep on, so I am now the proud owner of a mega mat duo size medium which is the two person version of this mat which happens to be the same size as my jeep trunk ironically.

Honestly, this air mattress is just as comfortable as my $4000 sleep number bed. This is a high r value mat. Another good option is the Klymaloft by Klymit which has a lower r value of 2.2. I've been using it in the summer and it's super comfy. Dear "Susan". Lovely name for a fella.. The beauty of youtube is that if your little pea brain can't cope with a 15 minute informative video, there will be plenty of 1-2 minute videos which give no information about the product that you can watch. A 64 year old male keyboard warrier who's probably never left his mummy's house, giving "advice" to a younger outdoors woman is very creepy and extremely condescending
