Looking forward to the following reviews on the KM3. My set was was delivered on Wednesday and will get mounted next week. I'm very excited to try this tire out and give my own opinion as well on my use and vehicle.

This 8 minutes video feels like a 45 minute video, and I scanned through it for only 15 seconds. Good god.

Furness Prime some people want more some less. Can’t please them all. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the shows. The Q&A might be more to your liking. Shorter and to the point

The first gen of the mud TA was by far the best. They stopped making them because that tire would last so long it wasn't making BFG enough money. I've ran the original mud TA, the KM2, & now the KM3, all on the same truck. The first gen lasted much longer, & handled better in all situations, asphalt, dirt, gravel, rock, mud, snow, ice, black ice, deep water, heavy rain, desert sand, & beach sand.

How work on snow???
@ExpeditionExtreme4 жыл бұрын
Ацо Димоски can’t really comment on snow as I live in the Middle East. But if I look at our followers from cold regions apparently it’s works really well

why you choose for the wide tyres? And not for some smaler? Because the sandy conditions where you live?
@ExpeditionExtreme6 жыл бұрын
Raymond Logister personally I prefer the wider tyre. My truck is very heavy, skinny tyres come off the rim to easy. If I was running a light Jeep Wrangler I would possibly change my opinion. Trying to change a tyre on a three ton truck in the dessert is no joke

i drive almost 25 years the 255-85-16.I drive a discovery 2 he weights 2500kg. And no problems with this size tyres This size is the same height as the 305-70-16 what you now drive. But i drive in a lot mud and rocky conditions. And you in sand. I am especially curious about how quickly they wear out. found the km2 very bad in that area. But I compare the km2 with the 1st serrie mud terrain of Bf goodrich. For the rest, the km2 were very good tires, but the km3 will probably be even better. I am curious about your experience with the tires to 10,000 km and 40000 km. lots of fun

Raymond Logister yeah I’m also curious how they will perform vs the KM2. Not sure if you watched KO2 vs KO? The huge improvement on the all terrain is insane. I hope to have similar results.... Time will tell
@ExpeditionExtreme6 жыл бұрын
Raymond Logister one thing to add, driving in the soft sand the speed is a lot higher than rocks and the change of direction through the dunes, in my experience with the heavy truck throws the tyre. I ran 305 Ko’s before the 285’s ko2 and through the 285’s off twice vs the 305, hence going back to 305

I agree 100%. A wider tyre is better in sand. Have fun, and I look forward to your reviews.

DO NOT BUY THESE IMO. My KM3's were brilliant for the first 8000 km or 5000 miles. Low road noise and great mud grip. Then they wore badly at the front and the noise from them is unbearable and the handling on road is so poor to be outright dangerous. My Recommendation, is if you want your tyres to last or be usable for more than this paltry distance then DO NOT BUY THESE. Australian purchased btw in case BFG do a different mix in other countries. Still cant get Michelin rep whop made them to accept that this is not an acceptable life. FFS. How embarrassing to be Michelin with this attitude.
