Also, when the adult Eland came into picture, they would have realised they had no chance of a kill. Even that baby Eland would have been close to 8 times the weight of the cheetah
@Zeepj886 жыл бұрын
The cheetahs didn't go at top speed because the calf wasn't going at top speed so it wasn't necessary for them, it seems they called off the attack quick because the mom was been too defensive and they perceived It as a too much risk for injury.

MrBibo2050 the animal that does this the better is the chicken, have you ever seen a chicken on a motorbike tank (hidden behind the windshield) wearing a gopro ? Looks stable AF, its head barely moves even with the tilt and acceleration. Try holding a chicken in your hands and move it around, do 8s, whatever, its head doesn't move

I have seen a few photos of what the camera would be when it's strapped around the cheetah's head. It's pretty unique that to see from the cheetah's point of view or perspective of how they tried to hunt down those elands. Awesome footage tho. But it's even cool when it's both normal speed and then slowed down. It just look amazing and epic as well. Did you guys strapped the camera around the cheetah's head when it's moving or did you guys tranquilizied it, like putting it unconscious and then strapped the camera around it's head? Like how you guys put the camera around the cheetah's head? But otherwise awesome video here! 👍

@aukua55124 жыл бұрын
Middo Yes, they strapped a camera to the cheetah's head/neck that you get to see from the cheetah's point of view or perspective of how they would work together as a team to hunt down large prey like the elands shown in the video. Elands are antelope that can weigh up to a ton in weight. And can stand up to 6 feet tall at the shoulders. And they can run up to 45 miles per hour and jump up to 7-8 feet high. Yeah, that's definitely breathtaking.
